Sweet Spot Cafe & Dessert Restaurant — Restaurant in Scotland

Ordered at 20:45 (delivery was going to be 45 minutes and confirmed delivery for a time slot of 21:30 on the website). This was fine. Unfortunately 21:40 came round and there was no sign of an order, no phone calls, no emails. We phoned up and was told that our order was ready to go out with the next delivery driver at 22:00. This is already another 30 minutes after our delivery time slot. Food unfortunately didn’t show up until 22:30 and was cold when we received it making it not that enjoyable. Disappointed as it’s not the cheapest place either. Personally, I won’t be ordering for delivery again as this has put us off. 1 hour and 45 minute wait for a couple of items. I would have appreciated an email or phone call to warn us of the delays instead of having to phone up myself and wonder if my order actually had went through. Also don’t understand why I was given the choice to have delivery at 21:30 if it was going to be another hour on top. I can appreciate that the delivery drivers may have been busy and orders were high, but please let customers aware of this, either by email update or...

My Daughter and I drove through from East Kilbride to visit family today and we ended up here for lunch with my Sister-in-Laws and Mother-in-Law and it was fab! We all loved it. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was really clean and well set out. My baby Niece was in her pram and we managed to fit her in comfortably beside us. I loved the flower decor in the walls and the archway in to the restaurant area leading from the adjoining Take-Away area. Even the toilet facilities were lovely. Our food was superb and the prices were extremely reasonable. I had a Tomato and Mozarella Panini, My Mother-in-Law had a toasty and the other 3 all had the Mac and Cheese, all our plates were empty! My hazelnut Latte was also delicious and my Daughter said her kinder milkshake was fantastic. Such a lovely place to drop in for a catch up over lunch with friends or a desert treat with the kids or even a cheeky lunch date with the other half. Highly...

AMAZING!!!! 😍 .. Called up for a collection for myself and my colleague as a little treat on our way home from work tonight. (We are chefs) .. very polite friendly welcome on the telephone! Followed by our order being ready for us at the time I requested!! 🤗 .. We both ordered the Strawberry City Cookie dough, with Ice cream and whipped cream!! It was SO delicious!!!!! Lovely and warm! And ice cream and whipped cream were quickly made up for us as we paid! Very professional service!! Lovely presentation and packaging! 🤩 Seems well organised and spotless shop!! We are quite critical when trying new food places as we know how high the standards should be!
