Tally Ho Winchburgh — Restaurant in Scotland

I have eaten here a couple of times and usually find it to be a nice place & the food has always been excellent each time we visit. However my wife, daughter and I went in yesterday Wednesday 6th September 2023 and upon arrival we noticed a large table celebrating a 30th birthday, after standing waiting to be seated for a few minutes I caught the attention of a staff member and we were seated and advised of a 20-25 min wait for food due to the large table, however we spent the next 25 minutes being ignored, to be honest I think the large table was for another staff member as all the staff on duty spent their time laughing and joking and attending to this table only. My wife and I stopped here for dinner whilst in the area. The place goes above and beyond in their Halloween decorations. Never been to place like it tbh. Waiters are young but friendly and helpful. The menu was just sheets of paper which I feel is a downgrade from the last time I went here. I got the prawns for starters and my wife got garlic bread. The prawns were nice but the bread that it came with was like cardboard. My wife’s garlic bread was pretty average but she still enjoyed it. Ordered food from here, took an hour even to I stay next to the restaurant. The burger was plain even tho it was advertised with cheese & salad toppings, I called back to mention that the order was wrong & they told me it was meant yo be plain, I stated that it's not advertised like this. They agreed to send out another order, but an hour later it hadn't arrive, when I called back they were arguing in the background about sending it out. They then said it was on its way but it didn't arrive till another 49 minutes later. So I waited for over 2 & a half hours for food.
