Tee Room — Restaurant in Scotland

Stopped in Dunning, 19th November 2021, after driving along the beautiful A934 back road from Muckhart. It was late morning. I was looking for a hot snack & a drink. Walked around and saw a sign for 'The Tee Room' near a golf course. The wordplay alone assured me I was onto a winner. The cafe is inside the golf clubhouse. I walked in to find some elderly clientele already seated. Assuming they were locals, then this is a popular haunt, another sure sign I've found a good place to stop by. I ordered bacon and fried egg, and got just that. The bacon was good stuff, and the egg yolk was runny (eggcellent!). The star of my order was my black coffee. Cafetiere, proper plunger coffee, great flavour, with enough for a wee cup and then some. A no fuss local establishment. Nice view of the course and...

We had a lovely afternoon at the Tee room😀Welcomed warmly on arrival by the staff, locals and the passing golfers, such a friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the afternoon tea (a great price of £20 for 2) freshly made scones, sausage rolls (so tasty) a delicious caramel sponge, shortbread, generously filled sandwiches (of our choice) topped with mouthwatering tablet, it was well presented and tasted just as good as it looked, we did order the mushroom soup too ( it was a cold day and we didn’t realise the amount of food we were going to get) however the soup was absolutely beautiful and we were kindly given a box to take home our left over treats. Soup was good, tasty and large portion for the cost, coronation chicken sandwich was more like chicken mayo sandwich, although lots of it, it had zero taste and no raisins/currants like normal coronation chicken

My partner had the brie, bacon, cranberry panni, it had very little brie, it was like a bacon and cranberry panini, although good price, quality wasn't so good,

Had a victoria sponge cake, small portion, tasted old, and was more expensive to eat away than in?

Wouldn't rush back...
