Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

In need of a brief respite and a hearty meal, we stopped at the Tesco Café in Perth—and left thoroughly satisfied. Frankly, I find myself perplexed by the number of unfavourable reviews. Our experience was anything but.

The staff were delightfully warm and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The interior was spotless, brightened by generous streams of natural light, and even the facilities were commendably clean.

Approached counter to purchase a pot of tea. After 5 mins no-one appeared to take my order. As I had lots of time to kill, went and sat down and read daily paper. Made another attempt to get a pot of tea. Same again, no service. With 3 Tesco employees sitting having their break, none of them made any attempt to contact cafe staff. Watched an elderly gentlemen have same issue as myself. Very poor service.

After shopping ect went to cafe ..found a member of staff that said only some things left on meals .. then after ordering one meal missing .. what we did get was leather bacon .. and burger solid around edge as old ... we did get a sorry but after 36 pounds for 2 adults 2 kids really should have went elsewhere No value .. old food .. and 24mins from first person plate to last being brought out and can only say tesco going down...
