When we arrived we stood at the bar and bar tender advised us will be with you in a minute. A waitress came up with a customer to pay their bill once that was done she did ask if she could help, she could barely open her mouth I picked it up just but my husband did not realise she had spoken to us. She lead as to our table then a friendly waitress came with the menus and asked if we wanted a drink we duly gave her our order, 10 minutes later no drinks arrived the waitress came back to take our order and noticed we did not have our drinks she went and got them. My husband's starter appeared and it looked delicious I was going to take a piece of the bread that came with it but it was brick hard I couldn't eat it. After about 15 minutes then main dishes arrived I ordered sea bass on bed of baby potatoes and vegetables, the peas and green beans were hard as if not been cooked long enough and the broccoli well I wouldn't have fed it to my dogs it was very well over cooked I couldn't eat it. The sea bass was nice the baby potatoes were roasted I ate them as I was really hungry. My husband's dinner looked nice but the rice you could not separate it out him right off. Again the broccoli was over done the waitress came to see how our meal was my husband advised her about the rice she replied it's sticky rice he told her he was not eating it so she took it away. She did come back to take my plate away and said that the chef apologised about the meal and she was taking it off our bill. The overall service was not great at all maybe if they spent less time chatting at the bar (which we could see) and did the job they are paid to be the service would have been a lot better. To improve the food side of things I would hire a chef that can cook. We will not be back. We did not leave a tip and this is the first time we have...

I had one shot to introduce my wife to a proper Sunday Roast, and I simply cannot overstate how delighted I am that we found The Glover Arms (near Perth/Dunkeld)! This place delivers the essential Sunday Roast experience, and they truly boast the most exceptional vegetarian option to boot. It was a guaranteed success!

I opted for the Pork Belly, which was cooked to absolute perfection and served with all the classic trimmings: a generous Yorkshire Pudding, rich gravy, and wonderfully tender root vegetables. My wife chose the Root Vegetable Wellington, and I have to admit, it was arguably even better than the meat! The pastry for the Wellington was sublime and perfectly crispy, and the vegetables inside were flawlessly flavoured.

Beyond the delicious food, the ambiance itself is that of a proper warm, welcoming pub. But what truly made our visit memorable was the friendly, warm service with a genuine smile. The staff were absolutely delightful, and their attentiveness and cheerful demeanor are a lasting memory of our time in Scotland.

This was easily one of my most favourite meals I've had in recent memory. I would absolutely love to be back as soon as humanly possible. The Glover Arms is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Sunday Roast...

This would be the 1st time we have been able to get a table, so 3rd time lucky. We have travelled from London and oh my it has been worth the wait. It's a great atmosphere staff are absolutely lovely and nothing was a bother as I'm Gluten-free and my husband is allergic to mushrooms 🍄, Chris was extremely helpful with showing me how to use the tablet so I knew what I could have on the menu. The chef David R was great with my order and if he was unable to do something that was going to be cooked in the same fryer as Gluten food he liaised Chris and gave an alternative. We had a 3 course meal 😋 my daughters favourite dish was the pork belly with scallops, my husbands favourite dish was the Tiramisu and for myself I absolutely enjoyed all 3 of my causes 😋 I had the soup of the day (Tomato and Parsley) for my main i has grilled chicken Katsu curry and dessert i had Allotment fruit crumble and wow it tickled my taste buds with luxurious custard it was nice and sweet with buttery crumble the custard cut though the sweetness. All I can say guys if you are ever near Perth please pop in and enjoy a wonderful pub atmosphere 😉 and an added bonus all us dog lovers they are welcome as well 😀.

You can book on line to make sure you...

As a family, this was the first year we ventured out to enjoy our Christmas Dinner. We already enjoy regular meals at The Glover Arms and the Christmas Day Menu was one of the best we had seen, so we booked a table! There was a fab choice of food on the menu and even a kids menu too for our 3 young boys who joined us. The food was sensational and the portion sizes made sure we left full to the brim. From the soup to the desserts, Chris the Chef did an outstanding job! I’m still hearing about the amazing Trio of Desserts from my husband! Emma looked after our table and always made sure we had everything we needed. From ordering drinks to bringing out the food, to checking on us, everything again was perfect! We had a perfect Christmas Dinner at the Glover Arms because of Niall and his team who worked very hard on Christmas Day! I would 100% recommend for a meal any time of the year, but especially Christmas! Thank you Glover Arms!

First time in this nice restaurant I would definitely come back when we are on our travels in our Motorhome. I had the rib- steak it was cooked to perfection. The meal was really good I would give it 10 out 10 but only allowed 5*. Stuart our waiter was 1st class in all our needs The coffee is very full of flavour and not bitter like some coffees Felix the chef cooked everything to perfection thought I would include Felix as chefs don’t get much recognition for his work 5* Felix. 👍 P.S The waitress asked us when we were seated at our table if we had any allergies which I thought is very responsible think to ask customers in this environment we living in today.
