We had the best night of our trip at this gorgeous little pub! The staff, namely Lyn, were amazing, she couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and we spent the night chatting to the locals who were so friendly. It was brilliant 👏!

Cozy wee local pub. Passing through area and called in for drinks after a long walk. Prices good and very welcoming. Nice wee beer garden. Not far from the canal walk. Will be back again.

What a hidden gem!! We were so glad to stumble upon this little pub. They didn't serve food (we were happy with crisps and nuts) so that did not affect a perfect evening. Kristen(?), the owner was very gracious and offered to get some take away but we were there for the atmosphere and people!! The friendliness, extra effort to accommodate us and our questions about the area made this a stop that we would have liked to extend extra days in the area. Coming from Canada, it was the perfect Scottish stop we we searching for on our vacation. Thank...

Brilliant pub with the most friendly, welcoming & hospitable staff we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. We stopped over for the night after a long drive up from Cornwall with kids & dogs and we couldn’t have been made more comfortable. Highly recommend this place - to both locals & non-locals alike. We popped in for a coffee when we were out for a walk. The staff said they didn't have the new coffee machine yet but offered to make us a cup of "instant" to warm us up which was brilliant. Nice to see some friendly customer service these...
