The Coffee Pot — Restaurant in Scotland

First time in The Coffee Pot. I felt it was a bit awkward to know what to order. It was all on a blackboard on the wall, but from my table, I couldn't see it. It wasn't clear whether they done food/drink combo's etc? Unfortunately it was almost 20mins before anyone came over to serve me. I was almost ready to leave. It's a nice place. Spotlessly clean. Great cakes and a nice coffee. The fella who's minding this wee cafe is a good host. He well comes everyone as they come through the door with a smile and a hello. I enjoyed my homemade scone and himself munched his way through a great looking chocolate éclair with fresh cream. Real mouth watering to watch. Yeah go and have the best priced cafe Cumnock...

Had a lunch her, which was tasty. Manager and staff very jovial, a bit like a circus entertainer. It made the place feel real and that the emphasis was on the customer and not all about profit (though that is important too these days). A first visit, would call again if in area, prices I would say...
