The courtyard itself is a pleasant outdoor place to eat. We found that no proper breakfasts were available. Ok no big deal. We ordered from the menu a concoction called Belly buster roll.It contained most things you would get in a breakfast which could easily have been put on a paper plate, mind you this would not have improved the quality of the cooking or food presentation. Everything was swimming in grease. We tried to find serviettes so we could absorb some of the fat(see pic). The black pudding was like the heel of a shoe, hard, crunchy inedible. The eggs were fried hard, way overdone . Most of it was put back in the cardboard box it came in and was binned. A waste of money and not cheap at £26 for two. This included two chai lattes which were so sickly sweet, they were undrinkable. Like a bag of sugar had been tipped in each This is a head 'em up, feed 'em, move "em out cattle yard. You have to stand in a long queue to place your order, you pay and are given a number. When ready staff come out to the yard and shout your number out and hand you the food. Staff are all teenagers who were kids yesterday. Everything is done on the cheap. Paper cups, no plates, wooden disposable cutlery.A low quality, money making machine for operators. A one off experience for me Definitely won't be back. Bought a simple bottle of water, on leaving cost £1.50. On a hot day i required more water as i walked around. Found a small Kiosk in park selling exact same bottle of water for £1. Read moreWe visited the coffee shop after visiting Santa - where kids receive a voucher for hot chocolate. I felt obliged to have a drink too and ordered a latte and empire BISCUIT and was charged £6.20! The price list at the til wasn't prominently displayed or clear and I later questioned what I had been charged - £3.50 for a latte and £2.70 for an empire biscuit! Biscuits were priced at £1 on the list, but I was informed this price was for the biscuits which I hadn't noticed behind me at the door. Empire biscuits were instead charged as cakes at £2.70. The coffee was average at best and the shocking prices aren't justified at all when you consider the better quality and prices at Costa, starbucks, Tim hortons etc. Will not be back or recommending, and considering ditching Santa there too next year despite being repeat visitors. I suggest you educate your staff on the difference between a cake and biscuit and sort out your price list as the extortionate charges aren't justified. The tables and floor were also unclean and despite it being relatively busy with people coming and going, I didn't once see anyone...
Read moreFilthy seats, floors and walls. The baby high chairs has mould on them and looks like they had never been washed. The seats has stains all over them and the walls were covered in dirt and bits of food.
The food was massively overpriced and terrible quality. My tuna sandwich taste like it had been in the sun for a week and I found a piece of blue plastic bag in it. The iced tea which was almost £4 was 90% ice and the staff took an age to order from with what looked like an overly complex ordering system.
Very disappointed.
And iced tea, a sandwich, a tea and a couple of...
