The Restaurant at Macdonald Crutherland House — Restaurant in Scotland

I visited the restaurant to celebrate an 80th birthday and it was very underwhelming to say the least. It was evident that they were understaffed which led to a dismal service. When we ordered drinks it took nearly half an hour to get them to the table; long enough that for our second and third rounds we just sent somebody in our party to get them from the bar. We also waited around 45 minutes between courses. I felt the food was overpriced by around 10-15% (and was actually more expensive than the prices shown on the website) but was good quality. When they brought out the cake that we had supplied, we waited for fifteen or so minutes before I eventually had to approach a member of staff to bring plates and napkins to the table.
