The Dug n Duck — Restaurant in Scotland

Yet another evening in my local where the customer is very very much second best,the bar staff somehow deem it acceptable to not only have their underage children on site after 9 pm with pet dogs yet find it more acceptable to involve Said kids in run of mill disagreements,I went for a few pints,was faced with a barrage of abuse from meghan and her underage kin,absolutely unacceptable In my book!! This place used to be a local to be proud of yet somehow they have snatched defeat from victory. Staff are so unwelcoming and argumentative, seems like it's their establishment and we as visitors have to bend to that otherwise we won't get served. To sum it up...terrible customer service,very very mediocre food,snooty barstaff,avoid this place at all costs,better just throwing your cash out in the wind.😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬seems like only good reviews are for the mundane deep fried food and that says more about the folk that attend this god...

I went to the dug and duck tonight first time iv been out the house to a pub in exsactly two years felt comfertable straite away the bar staff were great but the punters in it took time out to make me feel welcom i couldint have asked for any more it was a trial and error thing for me trying to get back out to be sociable again after such a long time drinking in the house but the whole pub made me feel so good im gonna get involved in all the activitys the pub offers got to say its saving my life they wont no it but its made me feel so good im gonna be a regular so i can have an actie life again thank you guys youl never know how much i needed what yous done for me me tonight hope it continues now im gonna keep coming up up to a lot of...

The fact Ian behind the bar loves to dress the same as me makes this place a stand out... . For this reason the DND most definitely deserves 5 stars. Plus it would be worth while to mention the grubs absolutely dynamite (stevie the phantom chef is a tip top cook it makes it more authentic sitting in a local pub being served food from a fully trained competent chef ..... Jaime Oliver hasn't got a look in) not to mention the entertainment is second to none. Helpful staff aswel . Great pub 👍 keep up the good work...
