After a recommendation, we went for lunch with in laws. Its a lovely place with beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking spaces and friendly and helpful waitresses. Unfortunately, as a whole though, our experience wasn't great. Two of our party ordered the special (a steak burger with bacon and egg). When they arrived, neither had the bacon or egg on the burger. Apologies given and this was rectified quickly. My meal came with garlic bread quite well done....not burnt as such but definitely too solid to chew easily. I mentioned this to staff solely for feedback purposes and I was offered a drink or discount to compensate, however, I don't eat huge portions so I declined any form of compensation. Now, remember those burgers? My hubby didn't want to raise an issue again (as he'd by this time clumsily and quite spectacularly spilt a drink just as our food arrived so was already embarrassedđŸ€Ł) but.....the egg turned out to be overcooked and more like an omelette. He didn't enjoy it!

Summary: fabulous place to go for lunch etc with plenty of space around and overall, the food looked fantastic. If I'd had a bigger appetite, I'd def have tried a cake or two. Friendly waitresses and quick service. Spilt drink replaced quickly without us asking. Could not complain about the service at all. The kitchen seemed to let it down on this occasion however will give this place another try again soon.

I am aware that our servers/staff/owners reading this will no doubt remember our visit (no one can spill a drink quite as spectacularly as my hubby lol) but I do feel I have been fair in my review.

Give it a try, we were just unlucky on this...

I really wouldn’t even give it 1 star if I could.

On arrival we we’re asked if we had a reservation. We hadn’t, and understood that although it was later on in the lunch period it was Father’s Day and quite busy for tables. We wanted to eat, but we were told they only had soft seating with a low coffee table. It’s not ideal to eat from but we understood that as we’d not booked we’d have to take what was available (around 4 tables were unoccupied.)

However, after taking our seats, which incidentally were adjacent the table where you wait to be seated (and in good earshot) another party came in wanting a table. When asked if they’d booked a table they like us replied ‘no’, however, they were taken to a table that was free (there were still around 4 tables free at this point).

Annoyed that we’d been treated differently, we were considering speaking to the management to ask why this was the case, to throw salt in the wounds, a further couple came in wanting a table, but who like us, didn’t have a reservation. They were also given a table

At this point we decided to leave. I would not have had an issue if other patrons were also advised that without a reservation there were no tables free, and we were all treated equally.

Sadly, someone made a poor decision here.

It’s a great shame, as we’re new to the area and this was our first visit, but because of the way we were treated, it’s unlikely we’ll return. We dine out regularly, and even more so when friends come to...

The Earn Coffee Shop is a converted barn on the outskirts of Bridge of Earn and is worth a visit. It is kid and dog friendly. Only one end of the cafe has windows, meaning only about 5 tables have a view out, which is a pity as the view is nice though slightly marred by electricity pylons. There is a decking area with several picnic tables for when the weather is good. There is an area with comfy chairs and several shelves of books available - useful to while away some time if wet outside! There is a good range of meals available and, whilst we only had soup, coffee and cake, the meals did look good in terms of quality and quantity. There is a great selection of lovely cakes which are all baked on the premises. On our visit we did, unfortunately wait a long time for our soup and it was only after catching a waitress we were finally served. The duty manager spoke to us and explained that, the paper table order had been on the wrong spike and the chef thought the table order was complete, and as we had waited half an hour kindly offered a free coffee and cake. Ultimately, we were kindly give 2 free coffees and one free cake which was a good outcome for an understandable mishap. We will definitely visit again if...

Great wee find in Bridge of Earn. We were here for Mother’s Day and overall it was 5stars. The food options are good and the specials menu board is worth checking every time, but be quick as they run out. I had the warm Thai salad and this was off the charts, it was so good I even wrote down the ingredients to make sure I could try to make it at home! Overall: The staff are lovely and polite, the food is delicious, the tray bakes are top of the pops (if they have biscoff caramel slice in stock just get it, don’t think about. Life is worth this slice of heaven!!). Only downside is the lack of info/website for bookings, but maybe you don’t need to make a booking on days that aren’t Mother’s Day. But even then I messaged them on Instagram and they were very responsive. P.s. check the Instagram for updates on their specials and tray bakes 👌 In photos we had Thai chicken salad, steak ciabatta and ploughman’s sound and sandwich. On my second visit my friend had the nachos and he rated them “best nachos he’s ever had” (it’s also large portion of nachos)

Lovely farm coffee shop. Dog friendly. Really nice place to stop for breakfast. Space in side is big, all thought there are only a few tables with wind view. I have arrived on Sunday super busy as tables where booked, I have notice some tables where booked from 12noon asked if I could set at the table with lovely view the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a good range of breakfast. I'm coffeeholic unfortunately coffee was not good â˜č We enjoyed our food and will return when we're next in the area!
