Visited with my mum on 5 January and it was disappointing. The scones were dry and dense and the butter was frozen solid. By the time we managed to soften the butter, our coffees were almost cold. We both left half a scone each as they were too dry to eat. We don't like to make a fuss but I decided to email the following day. It was my mum's first visit to Gleneagles so I felt I needed to provide feedback about how disappointing it was. I received a lovely reply from Kay who said someone from Garden Cafe would contact me. I heard nothing so emailed again on 12 January and to date (16 February), I have had no response. Not what I would expect from Gleneagles as the service is...
