Visited with my mum on 5 January and it was disappointing. The scones were dry and dense and the butter was frozen solid. By the time we managed to soften the butter, our coffees were almost cold. We both left half a scone each as they were too dry to eat. We don't like to make a fuss but I decided to email the following day.
