Stayed at the Days Inn which was nice, unfortunately this breakfast place over at the services was terrible. Rude staff and the one plating the food up kept touching it with her hands. My friend asked for no mushrooms and the thought of not putting something on the plate seemed to annoy her. "What're you allergic or something?" My friend is allergic, this statement was met with a big sigh and a shake of the head! The mushrooms were shrivelled up anyway, the egg was cooked to oblivion and flipped over on the hotplate, the bacon was well cooked at one end and almost raw at the other, the hash brown too was barely cooked and had crunchy raw potato in and the sausage was absolutely vile tasting. Read moreJoined the queue at 11:20, waited whilst no staff even looked at us. Finally got the front of the queue at 11:36 when staff told us that all they had left was what’s there as they’re changing to Chopstix. Even when the sign says that they open at 12pm. So 4 members of staff didn’t even bother to tell us that we couldn’t order anything from the breakfast menu. I got offered bacon and sausage and as a vegetarian this obviously isn’t something I could order, we just wanted hashbrowns and drinks. Staff walking round with their heads down not even looking at us??? One guy behind tossing noodles the whole time we waited there and didn’t even bother to tell us that we couldn’t order breakfast. What a joke, not what you want for a 400 mile journey...

Greasy, cold, no tea or toast included. If you serve tomatoes with breakfast, surely they should be cooked. Not at the Good Breakfast! Just raw tomato cut in half. Don’t start me on the staff who obviously did not want to be there never smiled once! You go to the counter and order then stand there while they collate your breakfast from the prepared food in trays in front of them. For some reason this process takes about 10 minutes. I could go on but I guess you have got the message...
