20/11/22: Had a late lunch here with my daughter in law and was delighted with the food, staff and premises, couldn’t fault it. So pleased there’s a café in Cullen with such a wide range of vegan food. And the prices are very reasonable too. We both had the cheese and onion toastie with skin-on side chips. The dish came with a generous portion of delicious coleslaw and chunky crisps. We were asked if we wanted vegetarian or vegan versions of the cheese and the hot drinks. It was all served quickly, and the staff were cheery and efficient. The ambience was great, and we enjoyed sitting at the table next to the old bakery oven which has been preserved from the old days. They even placed a cute Nativity scene in the wall where this was. Other Christmas decorations were tasteful and nice to see. At the point of sale I also bought a slice of cake, Raspberry and Almond, to take home. Thank you for a great meal!

Such a delicious vegan cafe in the north east. We regularly make the trip up to Cullen just to visit the New Denver, then enjoy a wee walk around the beautiful beach. The food is always super tasty, service is really welcoming and friendly and they're also very helpful with allergies (nut allergy in particular for me). Always love whatever we have and look forward to a wee chat too! Never had a bad meal here, but particular favourites have been the breakfast benny, full breakfast and special tacos. Always worth giving the specials a try and getting a cake to takeaway for later. You won't regret it. Plus the new vegan milkshakes are incredible!

A real highlight of a good long walk exploring the many scenic trails of Cullen is the excuse to have another lunch at The New Denver Oh my word, such deliciousness!! I swear vegan food has never tasted this good. So much to choose from. This time opted for the Thai inspired fritter wrap with skin-on fries. Sooooo good. These people perform food magic. We’re not vegan (or even vegetarian) but we love trying something new and the food here is proper delicious!

We stopped in for a nice treat of a breakfast and were met by friendly and enthusiastic staff. It was very cold outside and a bit chilly inside.

We had a full vegan breakfast, Avocado on toast and stacked pancakes. The vegan eggs and black pudding were inspired and delicious. The bread used was excellent and has that premium crunch. The bacon and tattie scone were a bit floppy for me. The sausage was way too 'flowery' tasting for me and prefer a more moderate taste.

The avocado on toast was beautiful, buttery and seasoned. The tomato's were whole which is nice visually but probably prefer sliced to eat.

The French toast was good. My partner loved it, it was sweet had a hint on cinemon and served with a choice of servings.

So, not far away from 5* for the food. Personally I'll ask for things crispy next time.

I'm delighted to see vegan offerings springing up and we'll pop back...
