Found the bar while walking around banff Gordon was so friendly and showed us photos and books of old banff beer prices good and we spent 2 lovely evenings in the bar

Relaxed , friendly , welcome from the customers at the bar and the man behind the counter was very much on the ball with a prompt , efficient and again friendly welcome. The place is sparely furnished and very clean and behind the bar has an impressive , gleamings range of malts (80+)as the landlord proudly told us . I would imagine you could have quite a night in this smashing wee local and equally just enjoy a quiet Pint at the end...

Dropped in here for a "quick" drink,,,,, ended up staying for hours chatting with the locals & the Owner,,,, learned some history,,, was taught how to drink whisky "the proper way",,,, absolutely cracking afternoon & would highly recommended a visit,,,, sounds like a cliche "but we entered as customers, but left as friends" will definitely be going again next time...

We visited the railway Inn for three nights whilst we where in Banff. Gordon the landlord and the regulars were very welcoming and helpful. Great pub if you don't want food. Great views of the Bay from behind the pub. Great Scottish atmosphere when it's busy. Thanks for the great...
