The Royal Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

We eat here on the regular - if you are considering booking a table or popping in for a bite, do not hesitate! The staff are phenomenal, the food is always fresh and tasty without long waits and the pub is dog friendly and wheelchair accessible. Good vegetarian/ vegan options and the specials are always something a bit different from the norm. But I am here to highly recommend The Royal, Innellan as a small function venue. The Royal hosted our wedding reception on 31 Oct 2023 and a suitably spooky evening was enjoyed by all. The Royal went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our night, I honestly wish I could rate higher than 5 stars, we were bowled over by the little touches as well as the big ones, the staff were so accommodating, and OMG the catering!!! Everybody is still raving about the catering - we opted for a buffet to feed 21 persons, we could have fed the 5000! The sandwiches were as big as your head. Everything was fresh and delicious. THEEEE BEST PUB FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Just left this wonderful wee gem of a place, super friendly warm staff, wonderful delicious food. My wife and I shared starters of onion rings and halloumi fries, obviously freshly made, the onion rings were exceptionally good as crispy outside and moist inside, halloumi fries were delicious also. I then had the mac cheese which is the best I've ever tried from a pub, the wife had the vegetarian beyond burger again that was exceptional. Visited this evening and had a takeaway of the haloumi salad wrap and the southern fried chicken wrap. Both came with fries, and I also had a portion of the onion rings. Meals also came with a can of drink each. Food was served in individual containers and wrapped in foil to keep it warm. The food itself was amazing in both taste and quality.
