We chose this restaurant for a family meal after having a fab meal when we stayed in the hotel around 1 year ago. Prior to visiting I checked the menu for GF options as I have Celiac disease and was happy with what was on offer.

When arriving at the restaurant we were provided with the menu - which was totally different than one online (apparently the menu had been changed over a week ago)! For main meal options the menu provided only had 2 listed GF options which were both fish dishes... not very much choice at all.

Thankfully the waiter advised that he could adapt a few other things on the menu which was great and appreciated. I ordered a steak sandwich on GF but asked for mines to be well done. When it arrived it was pink so had to be sent back and by the time it was returned everyone else had finished eating so I did not even bother with the rest of my dinner. We had to ask 3 times for cutlery for our main courses as they were no provided after the starters. Side order of chips came out around ten minutes later. Someone from our table asked if he could have some horseradish for his roast beef and was told by the young girl that they did not have any however a more competent waiter managed to find some. We asked for the bill and no one even mentioned to me about the amount of food left on my plate, most experienced staff would have ask if everything was OK. My meal was ruined because everyone had already finished before I was able to start mines, this completely ruined our experience along with the other issues and I don't think we would back.

I am pretty annoyed for actually paying for my main, I think the staff should have offered to take this off the bill or at least discount it. I went out for a meal with family to enjoy our food together, not on my own. I have had better experiences...

As locals and as celebration for great achievements over the weekend we decided to have a meal in highly recommended restaurant - The Shore, this was second time we attended this place and i have to say i'm very disappointed, first while driving up from England we called and were advised there are no tables, but when we arrived, the restaurant was half empty and we were seated right away, after which we received what seemed to be a longer wait than usual for the drinks. We ordered the mains and were met with very long wait, while watching people being served who arrived after us. when we finally received our dishes, i was not impressed. The salmon was overcooked with hard outside, cold and with piping hot inside that burned my throat. not at any point there was a usual "how is your food". overall paid ÂŁ50 for very bad food and okay service. When i caught a waiter to ask for a bill, i explained the situation and was greeted with "well you could've had 2 meals if you would've said". There was noone who to say and second that's not very nice thing to say to a lady. So be careful, one day you'll arrive and be greeted and seated although there is actually full restaurant, other day you'll be greeted with bad food and no...

My recent visit to Tree Tree by Hilton was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience. Despite its upscale branding and promising menu, the overall experience left much to be desired.

The food quality was below average, The cocktail was basic and didn’t taste any alcohol, especially considering the high prices. A supposedly medium-rare steak was overcooked and lacked flavor, indicating a lack of expertise in the kitchen. Other dishes we tried were similarly underwhelming, both in taste and presentation.

The waitstaff appeared inexperienced, struggling with basic tasks and displaying a lack of training. Mistakes in orders and a general inattentiveness further detracted from the dining experience.

Overall, Tree Tree by Hilton did not live up to expectations and failed to justify its premium pricing. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my...

I recently had the misfortune of dining at this restaurant, and it was a disaster from start to finish. The prices are insanely high for what they offer – it’s a total rip-off. The staff are completely incompetent. Our waitress was nice enough, but that’s where the positives end. She clearly had no idea what she was doing. The food was an absolute joke. I ordered a medium-rare steak, and it came out wrong not once, but twice. How hard is it to get a simple steak right? And to top it all off, the bill for four people was nearly £200. For what? Terrible service and badly cooked food? This place is a joke and a waste of money. I won’t be going back, and I suggest you don’t either.

Went in Saturday at 12 and restaurant nearly empty. Ordered meal which was very tasty but service from kitchen little slow. Our waitress Sarah was a lovely lass. Very pleasant and friendly whilst remaining professional. Mum had fish and chips and I had Spicy Bean Burger. Price quite high for location. Would have taken some more photos but could only see Queensferry Crossing but car park and dots on restaurant glass didn't quite get effect. No complaints, just little snips of honest review 👌
