Unfortunately, they seemed to be having an off day when we visited. On arrival we were simply told "there's nothing left", in reference to available seating, which very much felt like we were being turned away instantly even though we just wanted a simple takeaway order. On checking that they did do takeaway and explaining we didn't want much we were then told there would be a bit of a wait. However, we ended up waiting nearly thirty-five minutes for two hot drinks and cake. Our order was skipped past at least twice in favour of people who had similar orders, there was no acknowledgement of the long wait, and general customer service was poor. The hot chocolate was barely mixed which I shouldn't need to check, thankfully the tea was fine but then again it's just a...

Fantastic from the moment I stepped through the door til I left. I had the best hand cut chips, so crispy and fluffy inside. I’am a scone lover so I have sampled a fair few but that fruit scone was incredible! I loved that it was served warm, my mum is only other person to do that so it was such a treat to enjoy a warm scone with really good butter, jam and cream while looking out to sea. I took my little dog in, we don’t usually go out but the ladies were so welcoming, they even spoiled him to some gravy bones and water. The team were so lovely, warm & friendly. A good selection on the menu and delicious home cooked food. Highly recommend 🙂 Just...

What a find and a must visit if you are on Arran. The location is brilliant we sat outside on the decking right by the sea but they also offer tables inside. Dog friendly and also very accommodating staff. They were very busy when we first arrived so we asked about taking away but the lovely kind staff created space for us by adding an extra table outside, top class service that you don't get much these days.

The food was also amazing and the lemon drizzle cake is a must!!!

Highly recommend visiting this lovely place and there is also a little wool/craft shop nearby to take home some...

Simply amazing! Staff made you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A choice of indoor and outdoor seating! Very pet friendly, even had a dog bowl and biscuits brought to the table which molly our spaniel loved! Coffee beautiful, cakes freshly made and delicious. Had the homemade burger and Cullen stink which were both out the world! Brilliant value for money, and top quality food used. Can’t recommend enough, it’s a must visit!

An absolute gem of a cafe with stunning views of Whiting Bay. The food is superb - from a first rate Scottish breakfast (vegan option available) to the best chips I have ever had. The service is friendly and attentive to both humans and dogs. All done in a gentle but covid-safe manner. We've travelled from Newcastle primarily to enjoy this place again. We have not been disappointed.
