There's 2 vegan options on menu! That's rare. Had them both and they did the job. Curry could've done with being warm and burger was small, but mustn't grumble. 6 quid a pint. Sadly standard. The staff here are nice people. Give it a try. Oh you can do crown green bowling too. Fiver. Proper good fun.

We had to wait for a table, but the staff couldn’t be more helpful. We had 10oz rump steak which was beautifully cooked char grilled and tender. Peppercorn sauce included. I asked for veg instead of salad no problem. There was a wide choice of the specials board as well as their regular menu.

Very handy stop-off to spend time in on a sunny Sunday whilst waiting for the few-and-far-between Arran buses. Lovely scenic spot by the beach with sea views and outdoor seating. Friendly staff who make you feel welcome, and kindly let you use the WiFi.

We only had drinks, so can't comment on the food. The downstairs bar was full of folk watching football (a pool table seemed to take most of the space) so we tried upstairs in the bistro/restaurant. It was half full but although okay to have just drinks we weren't offered a table and sat on sofas, which were okay. Drinks nice enough, staff polite but a strange atmosphere in there (quite rowdy and loud for a bistro) . Still half full when left so could have had a table for an hour with a little initiative shown. The only place in Whiting Bay so give it a go but I assume Saturday is not the best time for a casual...

Popped in for dinner whilst on holiday. 4 meals ordered, 3 were good but the 4th dish ordered, which came highly recommended by the manager was, in my opinion, too perfumed and some of the ingredient's usual delicious flavours were lost. Asked for it to be removed from our bill and the waitress was happy to do so. Sad to see the Eden Lodge up for sale again, have visited many times over the years. The gin bar pink theme is perhaps a little forced for such a laid back...

Very good place to eat, with reasonable prices.

The 10oz steak at £16 is good value all round

NOT entirely dog friendly, dog's only allowed at the outside garden tables which isn't feasible in bad weather.

Ate here twice, steak both times, and both times we asked for medium rare and never got it so the kitchen staff may not be the most experienced but unless you are overly fussy it's not too big a deal.

Overall a nice place at Whiting Bay with a lovely...
