My hubby and I regularly dine here sometimes just the two of us and on other occasions with family or to celebrate special occasions. We always return as it is the best place locally for fresh, honest home made cooking in an environment that is spotlessly clean (including loos) and tastefully decorated. Staff are always smartly presented, friendly and courteous. Been going to the Torrance inn for ages now for bar lunches. Menu changes recently has reduced appeal for me-they took the beautiful salads off-which is a pity because it is a friendly and handy place for meals plus drinks. These menu changes were not needed it would have been better to renovate the pub as the decor is dated and some of the fittings flooring and furniture are shabby. The changes to the menu will cost them some punters, would have been wiser to close over winter to renovate the pub to better standard as it is quite old and tired now. We had a Fab night last Fri, 15th Sept. We had travelled over from Ireland .. A big Family reunion dinner before my brothers wedding! Excellent Service.. Food was outstanding! l had the special salad with prawns.. OUTSTANDING !! It was almost too Bfl to eat! 👌We had a Fab night & being Irish the last to leave.. staff were AMAZING!
