Waterside Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

I don't know what the food is like here, we went hungry that day as they refused us. There were tables free and I asked if we could just wait and said we'd have been happy with any kind of food, they said no. I've taken a few days to consider if I should write this review or not, appreciating this is a small business, and that you perhaps it's not always possible to know when you'll get overwhelmed, and have too many customers. I know that there had been a rush on food that day in the village, other businesses in the village ran out too. My wife and I were at this restaurant today Thurs 19th June , the owner went outside to presumably to talk to a customer and had left the door wide open, leaving a very cold wind through, on his return I said "could you close the door behind you please?"
