Fir Tree House Tea Rooms — Restaurant in Sevenoaks

Treated myself and my daughter for afternoon tea and came across this very quaint beautiful old English tea room. The lady that tendered to us was very friendly and professional food arrived quickly and of very high standard. Being a cake baker myself the cakes were just perfect especially the beetroot and chocolate and the lemon drizzle cake. I wanted to buy more to take away but sadly it was all selling very fast so I couldn’t. We had afternoon tea for two with a selection of sandwiches followed by scones and then choice of cake with a selection of tea to choose from. Would definitely recommend this tea room but I feel in the warmer days this would get very busy indeed but plenty out...

Absolutely gorgeous little team room, we turned up 5 minutes after opening and it got the last table luckily. We all had a drink, scone and cake, all delicious. There's a range of about 20 teas, coffee and soft drinks to compliment a selection of home made cakes, which after chatting with the owner I gather she makes fresh every morning. Price was reasonable for the area and beautiful building, £8.50 each for a pot of tea, very generous slice of cake, and a scone with home made jam and cream. Would definitely stop in again...

Throughly enjoyed our afternoon tea at this gorgeous spot! They were kind enough to accommodate us last minute without a reservation.
