Highly recommend. This place is amazing, their ethics, friendliness, efficiency, quality of food, choice of beer, comprehensive menu is absolutely worth this 5 star review.

We were en route to Tonbridge from Falmouth Cornwall for a work event at Brands Hatch the following day. Having left incredibly early to avoid the traffic we arrived at The Greyhound in time for 12pm opening. We were greeted and seated in the lovely beer garden and brought the menu.

Everything on the menu sounded so good and well described/explained but we opted for the Farmers sharing platter( the whole platter was great but the scotch eggs were amazing!) and the burgers were incredible, along with the skin on chips (best we’ve had in ages!) And then for dessert the brownie I thought ‘this is good’ but the more I ate the more amazing I discovered it to be. We were full up but so glad we didn’t miss out on dessert!!

We love our food, love cooking and rarely go out to eat because we are fortunate to eat so well at home but this place really is something special!

Everything is sensibly priced, and all types of people well accommodated for, it was lovely to see family reunions, couples, families who’ve just been for a...

Took my Mum for her birthday with my fiancé. Booked it primarily because of it’s google reviews. I grew up in the area but don’t remember this place. The food: very very high standard. Liked the limited menu and special board placed on the table. I had pear, blue cheese and walnut salad. Others had pulled pork/cheese served with chutney and salad (lean pork from restaurant’s own farm !! and cheese helped add a bit of fat). Madras curry special (fresh tomatoey sauce and tender chicken). Mum had monkfish which went down a treat. Home made deserts (walnut treacle and a brownie. Generous cheese board. Presentation excellent. The pub: small (in a good way), charming outside wood heater and covered seating alongside the village lane. Looked like a good selection of beers. Only tried a alcohol free beer - decent. Dog friendly. Funny toilets. The verdict: winner - 3 of us gave big thumbs up. Must go back. Friendly landlady too.

We visited this pub after reading the reviews...we weren't disappointed! You can instantly feel the fondness the locals have for this place, its very welcoming to locals & visitors. The weather was hammering it down but it was obvious this didn't deter anyone! Fran made us feel welcome! After contacting her on Instagram, she made a real effort as she knew it was our anniversary. We stopped for lunch on our way to visit Chartwell House. The staff were lovely, very attentive. You can really feel a sense of 'family' amongst them. The food was delicious! We arrived just after it opened & it quickly filled up with dog walkers & families. My husband loved the real ale served there, and it was a nice surprise to find a tasty, traditional cider too. Fran even gifted us a couple of real ale glasses! We would highly recommend! Book in advance as its busy. Look forward to...

Came here for an evening meal. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly welcoming vibe even though we were out-of-towners. The menu's varied however after pondering whilst drinking a guest ale, and eyeing up the food being taken to other tables we settled on the venue's specialty - The pizzas. The other half had a fully vegan affair whilst I went for a carnivore option, with Harrissa Cauliflower added...for salad. A definite highlight on a spectacular weekend. We spoke to the landlady, who was efficiently keeping tabs on every table and directing her troops about making sure no one went without. The staff were friendly and motivated, but not overbearing. I couldn't think of any criticism or way in which they could of improved our visit. We will be back! If you're just passing, or if you're visiting the nearby Hever Castle, you have to call in here. Dont miss out.

What an absolute jewel of a find. So often you go for a pub meal these days and end disappointed. Not in this case!! The food was superb with locally sourced ingredients, many from the farm which it’s connected to. A lovely welcome board was on our reserved table. It was comfortable and the service was excellent and very friendly. it was reasonably priced too with generous portion sizes. The gents toilets were an added humorous bonus :) We shall return!

This pub is not your usual go to fish & chips, tucked away with cozy and intimate atmosphere. Wood burners, blankets and funny toilets 😄 We went there on Sunday evening to celebrate 70th birthday and were very very satisfied. Amazing menu with generous portions, with some meat coming from own farm, fast service and if you ask the staff they will put a birthday candle in the desert. What else could you expect. Well deserved 5 stars!
