Café 19 — Restaurant in South Cambridgeshire

As a community cafe I was not expecting much from the venue. It was however much bigger and better than I thought it would be. The cafe has plenty of 🚗 parking, but I turned up on my 🚲 and couldn't see any 🚲 racks. Nevermind I just learnt it against the 🏢. Inside the cafe itself is a large bright and clean looking. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The menus and large blackboard clearly laid out what was on offer. Also some of the smaller savories and 🍰 we're on display so you could see what you would order. I ordered ☕ and 🍰 which was delivered to my table quite quickly. My ☕ was great and the carrot 🍰 was pretty good too, not quite up there with the best carrot 🍰 I've had but more than acceptable. Other items delivered to other tables looked good and well presented. As a first time mum who was invited to meet friends at Cafe19 with a week old baby was daunting. I had many concerns regarding pushchairs and also changing facilities but I shouldn't have. Cafe19 were amazing. With spacious seating areas which catered to my buggy as well as my friends double buggy and seating us 6 adults!! The café was spotless, the cleanest I have ever been in, the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Food was perfect, had everything from snacks to meals and their carrot cake is to die for!! Changing facilities were great, clean and spacious. Thankyou Cafe19 for making a 'first trip out' so easy and enjoyable. Have since been back many times with friends and family and would recommend to anyone. See you again...

This is a such a lovely cafe inside the community centre situated just off the main road into the village. I'm updating this review as I have now eaten there. My son and I had the brisket baguette and my goodness was it lovely, all topped off with melted cheese and caramelised onions. My daughter had a very nice tuna sandwich that she thoroughly enjoyed. Naturally its very busy when there is an air show on at IWM Duxford, the museum is a short distance away...
