Costa Coffee — Restaurant in South Kesteven

My mint choc chip frostino was absolutely delicious😋however, the way the manager of the store treated the trainee who served me and made my drink was disgraceful. The trainee in my opinion did nothing wrong, she put the ice in the blender and it made a loud noise and what looked like to me the manager had said she'd done it wrong and made her pour it away, I feel the manager was quite snarky and unpleasant and didn't treat the trainee in the manner she should have, bare in mind there was a lot of customers so putting myself in the trainees shoes, I wouldve felt so embarrassed, I was gutted I didn't have any change on me to give a tip to the trainee although next time I will, in my opinion the trainee did the best job she could've and the manager needs to start treating the staff...

First time ordering from this location and it does not compare well to other Costa’s I frequently order from. Note: I have left 5 star for atmosphere as I wasn’t in the establishment due to it being an uber order, so felt it unfair to mark it down.

The large I ordered was just over half full, the brown sugar I ordered was not provided, the regular that was ordered was also under three quarters full. The flavour of the Spanish latte was barely recognisable, as if they didn’t put enough syrup into it. The Chai latte was good, it just needed that brown sugar.

I won’t be ordering...

Visited here last week, staff friendly and helpful lots of cleaning going on both customer side and behind counters. A lovely cool place to sit inside was highly recommended in the high temperatures air con second to none. Certainly felt the hest going back to the car. There is seating outside but obviously with KFC, and Burger King can get very busy. Just remember can only park for 90 mins for free other wise you will get charged for parking. The staff was very helpful and took my registration as I was over 90 mins to prevent me...
