Had lunch here today, 9/04/25, as we were passing Fulbeck. Haven't been for a couple of years but the new owners are serving good quality food at reasonable prices. We had the delicious Leek and potato soup at £4 which came with a nice hunk of bread and some butter. Excellent value and well presented. A mug of tea at £3 is more than I like to pay. It was quite busy and people were clearing their plates of the food they'd ordered. A small main menu, see photo taken today, but do look inside at the specials board before ordering at the till. Dogs are made most welcome here and the owner has a jar of free treats on the counter. Seating inside and out. There's also a bigger car park now 8which is much better. There's also a couple of craft shops on site. We'll certainly come back for lunch.

Been here a few times. A limited menu focusing mainly around breakfast items, however there is still lots of choice including vegetarian options. Cakes are also worth a try. Coffee is very smooth blend and all served correctly....eg you can tell the difference between a cappuccino/flat white ;) Reasonably priced and nice quirky place to sit inside, of good quite outdoor seating.

Dropped in here on a road trip across England. Very pleasant setting. We had tea&coffee and scones. All were excellent and staff were friendly and efficient. Just one loo but it was clean. Called again today, three months on. Better than ever! Brunch this time and cooked to perfection. No skimping in real maple syrup either! We’ll be back!

We called en route from Norfolk to Yorkshire for a lunch stop. The welcome was lovely on May bank holiday Monday. It’s set just off the A17 so took no time off our journey. I had the hummus and pitta which was served with salad and crudités and was delicious and looked homemade (I forgot to ask) . My partner, who is gluten free, had a great selection to choose from and opted for the beef burger. Their meal was really tasty and a fantastic bonus was the gluten free bread roll the burger came with was so nice we asked for the manufacturer to see if we can source it ourselves. The owner and waiter were so friendly and went over and above to make our time at their cafe very special. Thank you very much. We will be back on our next...

We used to come here quite regularly it got taken over by new management approximately 12 ish months ago and we found the food was no where near as good as it used to be, to be honest it was pretty bad so stopped going . Recently we decided to give it another try because we had a small window of time and it's close by and we were pleasantly surprised the food quality had increased dramatically had eggs Benedict which was amazing.

Since my last addition to this review we are now in late August of 2025 and the cafe has since gone through 2 new management changes the last one was again poor overpriced for low quality food but hopefully this new one will stick as the food is again of good...
