I'm not sure what's happened recently, but I've had multiple experiences at this branch now whereby I've received at best lukewarm, but mostly cold food orders through Drive-thru, in store, or delivery. On each occasion I've had this experience, each order has amounted to over £15 worth of food.
This tends to happen more often during less busy periods (After 7PM) or outside of peak hours whereby I imagine they are keeping food "warm" (I use that term loosely) for too long to avoid wastage and to avoid throwing it away and cooking fresh as per official McDonalds guidelines. You had one job - Hot food should be hot!!
Not only is this a food safety issue, it results in consistently poor food quality.
I imagine this is done to decrease operating costs (less food wastage = more profit) and increase store/managerial performance on paper but in actual fact all they've succeeded in doing is alienating those returning customers like myself, who will be no longer returning.
On the latest occasion (where I'd ordered via Uber eats) I did call the store to report this issue and ask for help, but I was told there was nothing...
Read moreIts ok... The Food is hot and the place is clean no questions there but staff are very rude. I dont live close to this place and im glad i dont. I made a pre paid order via the app for the first time iv ever. When asking were do i go to collect my order as i was unsure i got told "you should know the app... it would of told you". This is very unprofessional service first off (not even got threw the door.) Then I collected my order from the collection point they practally threw it at me. I really was not happy with this and wanted to go further. But if the staff acting like this then the management must be the same.
Put it this way if im ever in the area agen i defiantly will not be comming here. I would rather spend £20 per person then come here...
The management sort your staff out and teach them some customer service / support how all business does. This is very unprofessional and before you say I also not rent/lease but OWN a business.

Read moreIf you eat inside it is very good and the lady doing the tidying up and hosting is very friendly making people feel welcome, she does an amazing job.
However.... If you get through the drive thru as I have on 3 occasions over a period of time, get home and find you are lucky if the fries are 3/4 full it is sometimes less. I did not take back as it is not worth driving back. Last time I went inside and ordered take out, they packed the bags in a big bag to keep warm very nice and thoughtful. Get home having ordered 4 large meals to find I had been given medium fries which again were not filled correctly. No I did not take them back.
Yes I should have checked them based on previous experience I know, but one expects to receive what is ordered as they are only reading it off a screen or piece of paper, how hard can that be?? Will only be eating inside there now. Never had this problem at the Glinton one, so that will be the drive...
