The Waterton Arms is a traditional English pub. With a cosy feel from the open fire and stone walls this pub makes you feel at home. The real ale is probably the best in Deeping, many will talk about The Vine or The Goat but in recent years The Waterton Arms tends to be the place to go for the most well looked after ales in Deeping.
The interior is now open and feels more spacious whilst still keeping that quaint pub feeling due to the removal of the chimney from the main bar area. The pool table is also a feature for the pub as it's a disappearing item from many establishments.
The beer price is sadly the only down-side, being one of the most expensive pints in Deeping but due to its location as one of the few remaining pubs at the Deeping St. James end of the Deepings it commands a good-sized clientรจle.

ย ย ย Read moreI wanted to go somewhere different for a pint. So decided to visit this Deeping's Inn. When i arrived i was Welcomed with a Big Smile and Friendly Customer Service from the Bar Server. I asked the Server, could i have a Pint of Bitter. It qas poored for me and placed on the Bar for me. I then paid for my Pint, went and sat down. It was a very Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere. Very lovely people to talk to. Good conversation had with them. I really Enjoyed myself and my Tasty Pint of Bitter that Quenched my Thirst. What a Great place to spend some time just having a lovely with Friendly people. It really made my day. Keen to get a Sunday lunch, I enquired as to whether they could take a table of 3 and were met by a very friendly team who accommodated us straight away. My 8 year old son was happy as there was a play area outside - result!!! There wasn't much of a children's menu but they were very accommodating when I made a request for my son.
