Pulham Falcon (Freehouse) — Restaurant in South Norfolk

Stumbled across this pub today while actually looking for another that happened to be closed on Mondays. Really glad it was! The Falcon firstly accepts dogs - our primary query & secondly has an extensive range of vegetarian options available.

The service is absolutely excellent: friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and warm and the range of food on offer is so large it takes a while to choose ! We had Soup , pasta bake, chickpea & Butternut squash Wellington, meat pie with warmed brownie , honeycomb & chocolate cheesecake & sticky toffee pudding as fabulous delicious deserts. All of which are freshly cooked there on the premises and couldn't be any fresher or more delicious.

Being very reasonably priced too we would definitely come back especially as we are super grateful that our dogs were allowed to sit wherever we wanted rather than tucked up a corner near the toilets or in a back room as we have experienced many times in other pubs or restaurants that say they are 'dog friendly'.

This is a very good little restaurant, pub great food.the staff were really knowledgeable and cheerful, the only fault was that the leaseholders/ owner did not order enough barrels of beer, sorry 1 is not enough for a public house of this quality coming into a weekend. Also the food order that was ordered for the busy Sunday roast, which is very popular did not arrive on the specified day, so the staff had to pick it up themselves, a 40 mile round trip, come on owner get your act together. The new Landlords of The Falcon Pub, Pulham Market (John/Neo) are as good of a Landlord as you can get.

I've been to The Falcon Pub, several times since Steve Smart (Previous Landord) Left the seen after viciously attacking a member of public my next door Neighbour!

Since John and Neo tool over the Pub, it's been an awesome experience with cracking banter, atmosphere etc as well as lush food.

I'd recommend the Falcon Pub to anyone at present 😎
