Went for dinner with my family and was very impressed with both the food and the service with the added bonus of the pub itself being lovely and quaint with its decorations and log burning fires.

3 of us got starters, a goats cheese and pesto salad and two shrimp and chorizo on bread with Chili jam. I’m a pescatarian but because all the food is made fresh to order I could ask for mine to have no chorizo, which was a lovely surprise as not many places are so accommodating! And it was delicious too, lovely big prawns.

For mains I went for the beetroot risotto with sweet potato, which was delicious, my brother got the burger and my Parents made the most of the two steak meals for £20 and neither could finish their whole plate because was such a generous portion but they both said it was great.

Me and my dad shared the sticky toffee pudding, which was another big portion and that’s always amazing because nothing worse than a small dessert!

With everyone having the equivalent of two courses each along with a bottle of wine and some other drinks, the bill wasn’t even near £100 so everything was very reasonably priced and would definitely come back to try more things on the menu and would recommend it to anyone who asked! I hear they’re doing a pizza night on Fridays now so I think that will be...

Me, my mother, my sister and more family came down here for my 14th birthday we looked for a good pub to have some nice food at (dog friendly)we were recommend this and as soon as I came in straight away I could see service was going to be amazing staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. I ordered the tiger king prawns very tasty and were extraordinarily quick. We brought my cockapoo Milo which luckily they had a dog menu and lots of free treats.

After, I ordered the best burger I have possibly ever had in my life this burger was juicy, crisp, tender and very filling. It was filled with 6-8 strips of bacon cooked to perfection, multiple slices of pickle that complimented the stack of blue cheese placed above the 12oZ juicy, tender, tasteful slab of beef. This burger was sided with two things: A small bowl of coleslaw made with creamy mayo, carrot and lettuce. Some crisp, salty chunky chips with some mayonnaise and ketchup which the staff kindly brought out.

As it was my birthday they brought me out a little cake saying happy birthday thank you to all the staff and team...

We chose this establishment from all the others in this area due to its menu online. We arrived, ordered drinks, and were led to our table. On the perusal of the menu, it was totally different from the online one. My beer was off, so I had to change it. The second beer was nice but served in a sticky glass. There were no chunky chips available for my meal of haddock. The steak pie was a traditional suet pastry and very flavoursome, but all in all, it was a little disappointing as we had already seen what we wanted on the online menu. The service was appalling as the two girls were trying to run the bar as well as serving food. This was not their fault but of the management. There is a health and safety issue in the restaurant, and that is an unmarked step to the pub, which one punter had a nasty trip. I'm sorry, but this is not a place I would recommend or...

We had the best meal at the Crown Inn today - I was excited to go here as I heard they were dog friendly and do the best doggy roast. 6 of us went with one dog and had the most amazing Sunday lunch. The vegan options were brilliant and every single one of us was more than happy with our meal. The desserts were beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The service is brilliant and overall it’s a lovely place to go and dine. Our dog absolutely loved his roast. We will definitely be coming back here. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.

My mum's from around here( I was born at Coles Common) and when we moved away my mom and dad used to still come back and have a beer here on a sat night in the 60s with me left in the car with a fizzy and crisps. Used to be a small kids play area 'tother side of the green..ah memories 🌈 I live in Norwich but still love to visit from time to time, bootiful pub along with the Falcon 'tother side of the green serving great meals in an idyllic setting
