This was our first visit. Good selection on menu, service by the two younger members of staff was excellent, helpful and polite. Meal was tasty. Issues were with the older blonde lady who was one of the waitresses with in the pub, she was quite rude, the most annoying problem was whilst eating our meal she was continuedly aggressive when cleaning the coffee filter out, loud bagging was very off putting, we did notice other customers were not happy with this as well. We would possible visit again, however if this was to happen again then i would have to approach her and question her attitude. We would have placed a 5 star feedback because of the aggressive / unhappy lady. It would also be nice to see some replies from management on here, to show...

Very busy local pub in village of Hethersett. Varied menu to choose from ,something for everyone. I went midweek lunchtime and only able to get a table for 1.30pm. Proving how poplar this place is. I choose jacket potato with tuna mayo and salad with tonic water as I was driving. My friend had the nachos with port and lemon. I thoroughly enjoyed mine good sized portion nicely cooked potato ideal for lunchtime. My friend had an ample plateful which she also enjoyed. Inside eating for us but for a summer visit plenty of outside table's. Staff attentive and we didn't wait long for our food. If you decide to visit you won't be...

We visited the Queens Head for the first time on Monday as we are on holiday here. The menu is EXCELLENT plenty of choices to choose from, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Good selection of beers to choose from, didn't wait to long for meals to be served, we also went back Tuesday & Wednesday too as we enjoyed our first visit so much. Would advise you to ring and book a table as it can get extremely busy as we found out, well worth a visit and we were certainly not disappointed with what we ate there. Will be going back before our holidays come to a close...

Friendly and inviting village pub restaurant. The staff are polite and efficient, the place is presented nicely and is very clean. There is a good range of items on the menu. The portions are generous and the pricing is very reasonable. The reason for the 3 stars is simply due to the lack of flavour in the food. I would have happily had a smaller portion but with much more flavour. I had the turkey, ham and mushroom pie which was huge but just tasted bland which was a let down. Minor adjustment here could make a big difference.

It is a lovely quaint pub. Interior is much better than what it looks like on the outside. They also have a salad bar. I was staying in a nearby hotel and decided to have dinner here. I was so excited to have the catch of the day since it’s Norwich but I was so disappointed when I bit in to it. The middle part is slightly uncooked and the fish still has scales. I wish I could’ve ordered something else but nonetheless, if I am in the area, I would still want to visit this place again.

We arrived around 5:30 and it was easy to park, no wait to be seated or served. The bar & restaurant was very quiet. Fantastic service, our lady was lovely. Really helpful and made us feel welcome. Our order was taken and we asked for changes to how food was prepped. No butter, sauce on the side etc. This was offered and given no problem. Large portions and fast service. Shame the restaurant wasn't very busy but other than that we would definitely come again.
