Duo Chef's — Restaurant in South Oxfordshire

We have used this place for a takeaway on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. My wife and I booked to dine in on a Saturday night, we arrived at 7:45pm and were shown to our seats with very little enthusiasm which we then waited until 9pm for our food. The service was terrible and the staff seemed like it was a pain to have customers, I don't know if this was due to the large amounts of takeaway orders I imagine they had due to it being Saturday night but was not the most enjoyable experience and my wife and I considered leaving more than once. As for the food we could not fault it everything we had was very nice and tasted great but maybe that was because we were starved before and would have eaten the table decorations if it had been any longer.. I think we will stick to takeaway from this restaurant...

ii decided to have the meal following my husband's funeral at duo...rather than standing aroynd with a drink in one hand and a sandwich in the other..I wanted sonething that reflected our life together and we have enjoyed meals at duo for many years. 75 friends and family had a fantastic meal together..it enabled every one to sit down and relax..and enjoy the fantastic meal provided by the team at duo.we had so many comments on how different and brilliant it was. a different way to provide the standard 'wake' ...but memorable in so many positive ways.thankyou to the duo team...and do consider them for big events..supporting a local and...

A great place actually, we're vegan and TBH extremely good cooks ourselves so i reckon the food (vegan-wise) could be improved a little bit, but its still very very good! Service is very very good, friendly and professional. Personally, we find the atmosphere fine, just a bit big and spacious, but that is being a bit picky. There is a superb outdoor area, that i reckon is prised in summer as its not facing a really busy road... Overal a really nice place with nice people. This review is based on several visits over...
