I had to do this review as back in 2017 on a Sunday, we last visited and were given the most disgusting overpriced breakfast imaginable and the two girls who obviously did not want to be there were very rude to us. When I complained the 2 girls laughed at us. My biggest regret was not writing a review! Following that experience we have kept away from the cafe. Boxing day this year 2023 we decided to give it a second change. What a difference, the sausage sandwiches had beautiful thick bread and was most tastey. Since then we have been back quite a lot and the sandwiches still remain good but I ordered scrambled egg which was stunning. I thanked the two ladies and said this was the best I had ever tasted. Sadly we went again on a Friday and ordered the scrambled egg for both my husband and myself. I was very disapointed - only half of the scrambled egg from that we received earlier in the week. It appears the quantity and taste varies as to which staff are serving. I would award 5 stars to the 2 ladies who were serving on the Tuesday and 3 star for the scrambled egg we received...

We came here as a family of six plus 2 grandparents primarily for the maize Maze. We did not eat or drink. We could find very little information online so here are some pointers. It cost £42. I think this equates to £7 per person over the age of 3. Service gets 3* because we waited such a long time with young children at the start and then again when we came back into the shop at the end. Kids get a clipboard to tick off the farmer's monthly jobs as they find the pictures going round. On completion they get a lolly and badge. The terrain is very rough and totally unsuitable for pushchairs or elderly people. There are a couple of tunnels for the kids to pass through and raised platforms with steps and lovely views across the hills. Cash is the preferred method of payment. There is a small free play area near the shop. You pay extra for the bouncer. Adjacent to the carpark are useful...

RIP OFF The first picture, which is on their website, entices you to what looks like an amazing maze, we were really excited, the second is what it actually is. It is also over priced at £6 per adult £4 per child. So with false, misleading advertising we requested a refund, we didn't get it. There is a crappy quiz they give you to do, it isn't engaging and certainly not educational, as the farmer said it was. Here's a clue, it's a farm with animals, so why have a poor excuse of a quiz about 4x4 cars, how can that be fun for all the family. I tried to email them but the emails can't be delivered as the domain is not recognised, I tried to phone the mobile no. too. I sent a text a to it, as a last resort, to request an email address but I've had no response. So I've reported them to trading standards, a complete rip...

Great spot for pumpkin picking! We stumbled across this place accidentally but stayed in the cafe for a bit before pumpkin hunting. The staff were lovely and the vegetables in the food shop were better value than other farm shops we have been to. The reason for only 4 stars - the coffee was terrible! I’m so sorry to say but a scoop of sweet, dried powder out of an industrial sized tub is not great. I would visit again but perhaps stick with a tea next time!

I feel ripped off. I paid £7 for "the best" Maize Maze only to discover that it didn't grow from them this year. I walked on the path among 50-120cm high maize - no surprise, no chance of getting lost, not fun at all. The "theme" information tables were made on rotting plywood and some awkward "decorations", random chairs here and there and two random bridges with no purpose whatsoever. I understand it didn't grow, but they should not charge for it then.
