I put in a corner with a messy table woth loads of stains all over it sticky table chairs where wobbly when we ordered our meal and drinks we got asked for identification 2 of my mates had there’s and my parent was dropping myn off so when I got my identification I showed it to the manager of the pub then she had it for a while so I asked for it back and she said I’m not getting served for anything because I had a cheeky attitude when all I did was ask for my identification back so I got it back then we waited for our food for 1 hour and 15 mins when we finally got our food it was all cold and when we asked to get a new one as we had chicken we were denied so we asked for a refund for our meals which came to £55.50 we were denied that also, over all the staff where disrespectful and rude I wouldn’t recommend this place ever again what a way to end a good day!! |I think this was because we weren’t regulars in the pub but it is out of order and I will be contacting green king to try and...

Placed order for food and reserved table for 10 2 hours in advance. Arrived and table was not set food was not ready in a timely manner and meals that had been paid for were missing. When issues addressed with staff instead of apologising and offering to resolve the matter was given excuse and attitude. Including physically slamming receipt down on table and proclaiming that it's the kitchens fault and not the server who took the order. Even during payment for the food the staff were claiming dishes that had been ordered ahead were not actually ordered or available when in reality they were clearly on the menu. Again no apology was offered. Apart from these issues the venue was not clean. Not enough cutlery, napkins, condiments at tables. Food was dry, cold and not very tasty. Overall a poor dining experience would not recommend and feel it's a shame as could have been a brilliant experience. Management intervened eventually but it was too little...
