Things to love.. The staff, barmaid was canny as was the chef, who makes a mean mince n dumplings, the meal was lovely.. Even the veg, properly cooked roasties were lovely, green beans cooked perfectly. Carrots perfect..
The only thing letting this experience down was a lack of choice for soft drinks.. No appetiser or similar
If you go on a Wednesday for the midweek carvery.. Its busy, but definitely worth a visit. Don't expect fancy decor.. But if you like good food and nice people it's worth a visit.
