Very rude member of staff who was stood in front of a till (which I was unaware wasn’t working) when I handed the items over which I wanted to purchase she aggressively told me to join the queue (which I was already in) pointing to the till opposite. I told her I was already in the queue of which her reply was it’s obvious only one of the tills is working isn’t it (how was it obvious) and it’s not this one. When I questioned her about her attitude towards me a customer she told me to go away as she’s had a stressful day. This Costa is in a hospital and I’m sure a high percentage of the customers are dealing with stressful issues but would not take it out on a member of your staff. Customers should be treated with empathy and understanding particularly in premises that are situated within a hospital. Just to say the young man who served me was very polite and looked mortified to hear how a colleague was talking to me and actually took the time to apologise.

This rude behaviour from a member of your staff was unacceptable.
