they need change typically spend 10-45mins haha yeah right
The starbucks at chiswell green has become a joke, me and my friends go there so we can get out because i don't dont get out because of my anxiety to get a drink and chill. but the pass few months the Chiswell green store has become more then a joke and i bet the shell garage is not very happy, don't blame them, we go to Starbucks south mimms its longer and out of the way because its not as busy.
people park where ever there feel like blocking the shell exit and on the glass next to Starbucks even blocking the exit and entry to it.
-some staff members joking around and messing around with there friend like Reece (who gose's out every five make sure his car is still there - that also parked on the glass not in the staff parking).
-full of student taking up most of the chair and tables making so loud no one can hear and leaving there stuff on the tables while going for there cigarettes leave the un use for like 20/30 mins and there only buy like a drink or one of them do in like 5 hours to justify it.
people park there for hours and hours block people and trucks from shell even the delivery for Starbucks we don't go any more we don't even pick to because of how bad got and i think normal people do think the same if there not a student or friend of people who work there, i even saw the house next door put cameras on there to look over at Starbucks and to protect house there from house and parking in front of there house.
hmm well if you like waiting around for a coffee order taking weeks to make because there making there friends drinks first
like parking anywhere you wanna feel like
having no where to sit
and letting student turn it in to a uni library because it free internet
then you come to the right place people to be fair this use to be a nice place about a year ago
not all the staff are idiots Mitch and Nikki maybe about 2 or 3 are trash but the rest are cool always know when to have friendly banter and when to work tho, but we did hear of things that are coming like
-parking time limit...
ย ย ย Read moreWe have been to this establishment at least 5 times in the last 2 years (my mum lives nearby). I must admit standards are really dropping by all means possible.
The last 2 times, the staff are more interested in barking orders at people about masks, social distancing, standing in the right spots then serving paying customers.
Recent visit in August 2020- on a busy saturday afternoon,5 members of staff were at the place, but only 1 physically serving customers.the others were making themselves busy by standing around, barking orders at customers and telling us where to stand. I appreciate that covid rules for trading are new to everyone, but least you could do in a coffee shop is welcome your customers with a smile. Due to this really bad organisation, it took us 20 minutes to get a latte, after I ordered, I had enough time to bring 2 under 5s to the toilet, bring them back to the car and I was still waiting for my order. I did mention to a staff member how long I've been waiting for my order and got a merely acknowldgment nevermind an apology.
Visit on 13.10.2020 at 7pm.came in to order a coffee.the card terminal was out of service ,cash wasn't being accepted and the only option to pay was with a starbucks card.not very useful and staff weren't really helpful to provide any alternatives. There was no notice on the door or the till as I came into the store.I opted for a machine made coffee in Shell and wasn't too dissapointes.
I would expect a bit more from a Starbucks store, hoping this will improve going forward.
UPDATE Following recording this opinion with the head office as a formal complaint, they have sent a back a very constructive email with 2 drink vouchers.i am really hopeful things will change at this...
ย ย ย Read moreIn this branch yesterday afternoon to get some coffees to takeaway and was 'served' by a girl named Kiera (I believe) and she is solely the reason for the bad review. So rude. She didn't acknowledge me at all, didn't greet me with a 'how can I help?' or anything so I waited because I wasn't sure she was ready to serve the next person. She barely looked at me and I hesitated after ordering the first drink because she didn't acknowledge it at all until I asked have you got that one and she said 'yep' so I continued with my order at which point a man came in and waved to her and she began having a full shouting convo as he walked across the busy coffee shop whilst im still ordering and not sure she is getting it. I have never been served by someone so dismissive and rude before. Another lady named Katie I think, was reading the order screen and getting my order together. Even this lady seemed exasperated with the person serving me as she couldn't get to something she needed to get my order ready after saying excuse me to 'Kiera' three times before she heard her because she was so engrossed in her unprofessional conversation with the man across the busy room. It was also Katie that thanked me and asked me to collect my drinks. Will be passing Katie's great customer service onto Starbucks head office as will I be highlighting the disgraceful attitude of Kiera in this branch. Put Katie on the till and put Kiera out back washing up or better still give her her p45, shouldn't be amongst customers....
