Mama Pizza — Restaurant in St Helens

Always order from Mama pizza as the food never fails in flavour. However tonight’s order has been disgraceful. I ordered tonight and they brought the wrong order, so we rang back politely so they could bring the right one. We began to eat it the pizza that had been brought whilst they brought the correct order, as we have not eaten all day. The member of staff came to the door with the new one and demanded the wrong order back. I told him we had eaten 2 slices of it and I was told we shouldn’t of eaten it. I was beyond shocked the way I was spoken to on my own doorstep so I I rang Mama pizza back about his comments and asked for his name. The staff the answered failed to answer my question and began to kick off down the phone. He blamed me for his mistake and told me we had our order. I said I was grateful for them bringing the right order the second time and he told me it was okay then. I processed to tell him that wasn’t my problem anymore and it was about how I was spoke to. Been here twice now. The first time was in the summer and we had children with us at 8pm, as we had been out for the day. A comment was made by them about having children out at that time of night. When I asked him what he meant, it turned into a slanging match about our country. We ordered tonight as we were in the pub next door and came for food that unfortunately the clock hotel was not serving. We ordered on the app for collection. On the website it states "free kids meal when spending over £14" when we arrived to collect we were told that we had not spent enough even though we spent £15.60. We were even told we hadn't paid for mayonnaise so couldn't have any. So I can honestly say, I would never step foot in this...

Please take your time to read my other reviews just to put perspective on this review. Order took incorrect over the phone but had drove to the takeaway them home, phoned back when got home and realised the order was incorrect but like many before looking at reviews was told 'i had ordered incorrectly' when I went back to the shop was met with a hostile environment when mentioned I'd rang and there was a problem. Owner/chef or whoever wanted full on confrontation but when realised wouldnt be bullied, use at your own discretion and happy for their reply but seems I'm not the only patrion that's received thuggery...
