Great place to visit. This is a fairly new business that is always listening to what people have to say and improving. I've been going since it first opened so i have seen the changes. They serve snugburys ice cream, lots of flavours to choose from and they change the flavours from time to time. You can add your choice of toppings. Great selection of cakes at a good price. Pasties, pies and sausage rolls on offer as well. Milk shakes and hot drinks available also. Outside Bobbies has plenty of seating with parasols and a marquee. They have 2 bouncing castles, a sand pit and toys to play on for the kids. There are animals to look at while you're eating. This is all free. There are other businesses that visit as well so it's worth checking there facebook page to see whats on. The staff are very friendly and happy to answer any questions you might have. Plenty of parking on site. They have 4 portaloos for the toilets which i've found to be clean, not to everyones liking I know but better than nothing. The only down side is that you can't really walk to bobbies safely as there are no footpaths leading to it. You would have to walk on the roads.

Said it closes at 7pm online so we went around 4:30pm and were told they’re closing the gates at 5pm which was a shame as I’d gotten a taxi there with my newborn and 1 year old and shortly had to call my husband to pick us up. We didn’t get the chance to go inside the ice cream parlour. I did tell the staff it says 7pm online (“clear on google” as seen in the screenshot) but the lady was unapologetic..as is the owner in the response so we won’t be visiting again although it did seem like a nice place to take the kids. Edit: we visited on a Saturday and the first search result that comes up clearly says it closes at 7pm. Your reply seemed hostile as it says “it’s clear on google your closing times” when…clearly not? maybe it should be changed? How are people to know to follow facebook…and that the closing time is actually 5pm when it says 7pm? Your apology is half hearted and shifts the blame to the customer saying “we’re sorry you came” 😂A very unprofessional business who can’t take the slightest bit of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism it seems..

I'm a regular at bobbys with my 5 year old daughter but tonight myself and my parents went for tea, as usual we were greeted with a warm friendly welcoming atmosphere and the most polite helpful staff. Our meals were hot, fresh and very tasty, they were made with care. The Parlour is very clean and constantly kept on top of. It was lovely to watch children playing and engaging with the animals and mostly enjoying there ice creams which there is every kind of flavour you can think of! The menu boasts huge value for money. As always I took a piece of home made cheesecake home, lemon and white chocolate which tasted mega. My parents had a viccy sponge and chocolate cake which were fresh and tasty. The best bit about Bobby's is that the owners are always present, chatting to customers and showing a genuine love for this super friendly family establishment that they've created through hard work and determination. I cannot recommend bobbys enough! This place is a must visit with your kids during the holidays.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️Me and my family went earlier today we were a group of 7 so hard to miss. We went to the ice cream part we were the first in line so when the young girl served the group behind us. We were a bit puzzled and it happened again so in the end we asked what was going on we got the reply of sorry it’s busy and that she would serve us next but then she went to serve some other group so we had to say what’s going on. When we finally got served we ask what flavour ice cream they had as nothing had labels on them. She didn’t know what they were so had to find the other staff member to tell us . So we asked for vanilla she then gave us a different one that had nuts in it. It wasn’t until my daughter started eating it that we realised this. Good job she’s not allergic so then we got the right one. After all that we still had to get someone with some sort of training to correctly do our order as the young lady gave the wrong portion sizes also we were told that there was no waffle cones but when the other staff member came to correctly do our order again she the asked if we wanted the waffle cones. This could of been avoided if she was given the proper training and properly staffed. There were people complaining from other tables as well that hadn’t had their orders. The young girl on the ice cream counter was clearly overwhelmed and had not had to proper training. Also my partner had an ice cream that she said tasted off and then for the rest of the day was ill. We were really looking forward to the trip to Bobbys as it’s not local to us and we’re so disappointed with the...

Went here today with my family. We spent a grand total of 10 minutes here then came away. The car park was a shambles. They absolutley need a marshall because everyone was trying to get around to the main car park (which was full) and it's only single track road around to a small car park so it just got gridlocked Instantly. When we managed to get to the overflow carpark we saw that people had triple parked so the cars in the middle had no chance of getting out if they needed to. The queue for ice-cream was all the way across the front of the barn, which had gazebo stalls in front of it as well so people were queueing in the already narrow roadway down to the overflow carpark.

The entrance to the field with the bouncy castles in and animals was on the main entrance roadway which is very dangerous as kids were running in the road to get to the gate while cars were coming and going right alongside them.

The whole place was very busy. From what we could see there wasn't all that much for kids really. We didn't get food or ice-cream as the queue was massive and I didn't want my kids standing with cars coming past within a foot of us constantly so we just didn't bother.

I appreciate it's free, that's the reason I have given 2 stars and not 1, and I suspect that's the reason many people were there today. It's not for us though and we won't be going back anytime soon, mainly because parking is a disaster, people were queueing dangerously within the roadway, and the gate to the animal field is in a very...

We arrived yesterday, all seemed great at first, loved seeing the animals, despite the play area next to them being covered in litter. Went in to get some food, sat down, I ordered the burger, my partner she ordered the fajita wrap. The restaurant was pretty quiet, only our table and another waiting for food, we waited 15 minutes for our milkshakes to finally arrive. We looked past this, and waited for our food, another half an hour went past still waiting for our food, no idea why it was taking so long as it wasn't actually busy, in the meantime, looking at the staff, they looked so overworked and exhausted, I felt bad for them.

After waiting for about 45 minutes, I noticed who I assumed to be the owners wife or partner, come in with her friend, sit down and within 5 minutes of sitting down, had their food and drinks brought to their table to them, which is incredibly frustrating to see as a paying customer.

After nearly an hour, our food finally arrived, and although the burger was okay, nothing too special, the fajita wrap was not very nice at all, Definitely not worth waiting an hour for. A very disappointing experience especially seeing the owner come in and snub all the paying customers by getting her service before the customers keeping them in business. And how overworked the staff looked.

Expecting a snotty reply from the owner based on the other responses he gives. Will not be going again and do not...
