We recently celebrated our work Christmas party at this Indian restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, setting the tone for a memorable evening. They were not only attentive and friendly but also great fun to interact with. They happily accommodated special food requests, took group photos for us, and went out of their way to recommend dishes and explain the meals in detail. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our evening special.

The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was served piping hot, with impeccable timing between courses. The flavors were rich, authentic, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re an adventurous eater or prefer milder dishes, the menu offers something for everyone. Every dish we tried was a highlight of the evening!

The restaurant’s setting is also convenient, with plenty of parking available. Despite not being locals, we found it easy to locate thanks to glowing Google reviews—and we’re so glad we followed them.

To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable considering the exceptional quality of both the food and service. It’s rare to find a place that balances affordability with such a premium dining experience.

Nice place, has a bar as you walk in which was surprisingly busy given it's got a far larger seated dining area then bar area.

Menu is varied I'd find it hard to believe that someone couldn't find something they liked from traditional Indian dishes to traditional English dishes.

Food I couldn't flaw, they made me a Chicken Balti that was spot on perfect blend of subtle heat and aromatic spice.

Service wise, food took just shy of an hour to come out which wasn't too bad as you could tell everything was freshly prepared so I didn't begrude the wait, rather that then they serve me something from a vat that's been kept warm forever.

On the note of service they were very accommodating to my partner's dietary needs and offered suggestions and alternatives to her and when her meal arrived they were once again accommodating ensuring all was okay and we're only to happy to help.

I only knocked atmosphere down by one as dam the music was loud, I mean it drowned out the people around us well but it did make having a conversation a little difficult. We both felt as if we had been shouting to each other when we came out with slightly horse throats lol don't let it deter you the place is lovely, clean and well tended.

We had starters, mains, shared a rice and had a couple of soft drinks each and total was around £25 a head so a fair price for far more food then we could eat and they were only to happy to box up what was left for us (far to tasty to let it...

Tried an indian/English restaurant we've not been to before (Golden Keg, Draycott). The food was lovely, hubby had some kind of lamb curry and trimmmings, I had Chicken Fungi which was Chicken breast in a creamy mushroom sauce with Potatoes and steamed vegetables...really lovely!

I didn't like... The waitresses who were slapdash! No tablecloths or placemats and only paper serviettes. Everything was brought out higgly piggly in non matching dishes! 2 plates plonked down for us to eat our Poppadom starters off and I had to ask could we please have some cutlery! The main course was cleared away after we had eaten then we saw the girls get their coats and they went home before even asking if we wanted a desert! I know we didn't arrive until 9pm but it was fairly quiet in the restaurant area with most guests having finished their meals and leaving shortly after we arrived. At least it was a cheap night only cost £37.00 with drinks! It would be lovely with a little attention to detail as the food was really nice! We'll come back and give you another chance as we couldn't fault the food or the friendly man behind the bar but spraying tables and leaving spray on my seat (which I had to wipe) and not asking if we would like deserts or coffees was really poor and you lost money!
