First time going for food and I had a great roast Sunday dinner. Food was good, service was brilliant, the waitress even asked if wanted more gravy. You never get that anywhere now. Definitely will be back.

The food here is next to none. Classic and street food menus. It's a huge venue. Great for parties. It has karaoke and quiz nights. Pool and poker. The owners are both lovely. This was Halloween 2021! 🎃

Great pub. Really good service and great food. The food portions were huge and good value for money. Street food and main menu options with a Sunday menu as well.

We found this pub following a recommendation from a neighbour and immediately became regular customers for weekend and occasional evening meals. Yesterday evening we went for the pie night, I had been looking forward to trying their cheese & onion. We gave our order at 4.30pm, but were told that pie night didn't start until 5pm, therefore instead of £5 each we were going to be charged the usual £6.95 each. There was no-one else in the pub. The idea of offers is surely to encourage people in at 'dead' times. We were not expecting special service at a busy lunchtime, nor half an hour AFTER an offer had ended. I couldn't believe the attitude of the chef. Common sense would have been to let us have the pies a little early, particularly as regular customers?! If you want a reason for the death of the public house you need look no further. I'm afraid we will not...

I have not been in the Meg for a long time now, but noticed that dogs are allowed in, (weren't before) so I decided to take the plunge so in we went just for a T & G 1 old miniature schnauzer, 1 mini pinscher x chihuahua and my bit of a pup he's so Diddy. After a few minutes of being tangled in the leads I was asked if they could help bring my drink over, or hold the pup of which they did both of. Very friendly staff, my daughter went to school with the manager graham. He brought me a large picture board with photos of then and now OMG there I am in the corner wearing the sweater I had just been talking about! Made to feel very welcome. It's difficult to go to a pub as a woman, let alone a widow with her little pack of dogs Oh and the drink glad I had a...

Four of us visited yesterday for Christmas lunch. Suffice it to say, not one of us had any tea or supper. The food was exceptional, 2 thick slices of turkey, mash, roast potatoes, pig in blanket, stuffing balls, two dishes of mixed veg, one dish of sprouts with bacon, one dish of mashed carrots and a jug of gravy. We had various starters and puddings, all of which were also excellent. We would probably have been happier with only one dish of veg as there was quite a bit of waste, but we hope that the portion sizes may be adjusted as...
