The Railway Tearoom — Restaurant in Staffordshire Moorlands

What a cute little place. Our first time visiting after a walk along the canal. I loved the simplicity of the menu and the vegan options too! The vegan rocky road is delish. Me and my husband shared a slice yesterday and a pot of loose leaf tea for 2, £4.95! Bargain! My son will be well chuffed too as they do Cheshire cheese on the oatcakes. And Snugburys ice cream of course. Didn't realise really notice outside as the weather was a bit rubbish but it would be nice to sit outside another time. The toilets were nice and clean and there were bits and bobs for the ladies ;0) Last but not least the couple who are running it are absolutely lovely. Wishing you all the best with your new venture. A true hidden gem. The sign on a plain wall with some stone steps to a door gives absolutely no indication of the cosy, welcoming cafe inside. Staff are friendly, the place is immaculate, oatcakes are delicious. Cake, ice cream or a tin plate breakfast for £6. Great tea and coffee and very reasonable prices. There is parking outside. We popped down to The Railway Tearoom this morning & what a beautiful little surprise.

Set by the old railway tracks this little tearoom is an absolute dream.

We opted for the Tin plate breakfast with ALL the trimmings & it did not disappoint! It was delicious, even more so that it was served on a tin plate - it was so nostalgic - the music really added to the feel and honestly we loved it. The loose leaf tea pots are the cutest.

We took Snugburys Ice cream & Lotus Biscoff Cheescake to go....
