Daisy's Kitchen — Restaurant in Stevenage

Fantastic little Café on the Oval estate in Stevenage. Very friendly owner and very kind and helpful staff. If you have small children this is the perfect place for a cuppa! They have a small safe play area with toys and drawing equipment. The menu is varied and expected from a cafe. Great prices too! Which is even better ;-) plenty of room for a wheelchair/pram and toilet/ changing facilities. Good parking as there are other shops...

Worst fry up I've ever had

Eggs were undercooked and snotty 😱 Bacon was not bad 🥓👍 Sausage was very cheap and not nice Beans were very hard and cold The toast was the end of the loaf 😱 The brown sauce was not hp, it was stockwell (tesco value) its rank 🤢

The only good thing is the children's play area

I went in starving and still left most of it, I will go TJ's up the old town in future.

I could make 10x better myself at home 🙄

Not usually one for reviews, but this place is great. Very unassuming and welcoming atmosphere. The lady that took my order was very smily and friendly. Had omelette and chips and it was spot on. Probably the best I’ve ever had (wouldn’t tell me wife that). Lovely to have somewhere so close to home, you can get good scran. Food does take a bit of a while to come out, but it’s properly freshly made grub that’s well worth a little wait, so it’s not a...
