Millrace — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Went to the millrace to see family on Father’s Day, the whole time there we were nit picked at, either for kids standing up and writing on the chalk board or sitting too close (a foot away from a family member) however the worse part was at the end being warned to keep my kids away from a dog that could bite if they went close. Now in my opinion letting a dog in that could bite and has been known to bite is much worse than telling someone their kids can not stand and draw on a chalk board. I tried to speak to Michelle and tell her how she came across as the manager and she said if you don’t like it do not drink here. I will never drink there again while she is behind the bar!!! We recently had my nans wake here. The landlady Michelle made sure everything was perfect for us, the buffet was beautiful and Michelle was very friendly, it was a heartbreaking day for us but was nice to catch up with family in the room that was free just for us.
