Sweet Moments Stoke — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Turned up on a Saturday night, shop was entirely empty so not like there was a big queue of people. Tried to order two 50/50 waffles with different flavours, the guy struggled to understand what we were asking for and we had to repeat it multiple times and then start the order again. Finally he managed to put them through. We then had to wait for over 35 minutes for our 2 waffles to come out. When they finally did come out we had them as take out and when we got home we opened the box and the two waffles were completely the same when one of us ordered we ordered two different types of waffles but they just made two of the same . The waffles are split into quarters and you get 2 halves of a Ferraro rocher (so one) and two little bits of kinder bueno and only a little bit of chocolate sauce. Over £8 for each waffle and the taste wasn't that good. Will not be returning. The staff were friendly enough but the service and the actual waffle...

Ordered fresh doughnuts to be sent supermarket quality defrosted resugared reheated doughnuts ordered 2x6 received 2x4 i rang to aske why and was told the machine was broken and these were replacements I said I wouldn't have had them if I had known as these were not what I wanted or ordered and the quantity difference should have been communicated before they were sent out and the only reply I got was oh ok. you have just lost 4 years of continued ordering both delivery and collection from yourselves I have just payed 12.40 for 8 Tesco quality ring doughnut's not value for money in any way and the doughnuts were not nice at all UPDATED since posting my review the store has contacted me and kindly offered and gave a full refund they also gave me 2 chocolate fudge cakes with ice-cream as an apology for the issues which was really nice of them...

We were looking for a sweet treat after tea and saw this place and the good reviews. Our experience was extremely disappointing. Our order consisted of 2 items.

Item 1 - Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, warm, looked nice but tasted floury. Was inedible and had a strange taste went straight into the bin. Item 2 - Fruity Sensation Waffle - strawberry's were very pale and quite white, did not look appealing and were slimy. Bananas were how you would expect. The waffle was cooked and edible but was so bland and tough just didn't eat more than a third. The "gelato" which looked like soft serve that came out of a freezer was the only edible thing and was somewhat okay in comparison

Overall an extreme letdown for £13.90 would've been better off getting a McFlurry or a tub of...
