I'm within the top ten people who review places like this on Google. And I have to say this is the worst place I've ever been for customer service. We walked in and was met by a young girl who gave us a menu and told us to find a seat and that there was no table service. So we found a table. The pub/restaurant orwhat ever you wish to call these places now days. Has a very plane decore. Boring is properly the best word. A little like a hospital but in gray. Anyway my partner went up to the bar to order food. She ask the same girl who gave us our menus if we could change the salad to peas with our steak. She was told no and then to go and ask the manager. Who was sat at the bar with with nothing on feet and apeard to be intoxicated. Anyway we got the peas with our steak in the end. Whole set at our table two other girls that worked behind the bar was back and thourth to the toilet every two mins giving us right moody looks. For what reason we are clueless. Anyhow the food come out. I had the cook it yourself steak. Which come out very well presented and my partner had the mix grill. We then had to get up and get our own knives and forks. And any saurces we wanted. The cook it yourself streak was very nice, however my partners was dry and over cooked and the Sausage was chip pan fried. My partner complained and I think they was going to offer something but I said to my partner I wanted to leave as I didn't feel welcome. As we left we was followed out and watch from the door as I sst in the car sorting out my sat nav.. We was not sure if this was a family run place or private. I strongly beleave if this place was of the main road it simply wouldn't survive. I drive past hear a few times a week and I simply will NEVER come in again

Have passed this pub on many occasions always looks busy.... Tried it out on a Saturday lunchtime - quality... Busy vibe with all ages eating and drinking... Met by friendly bar staff... Good drinks pint or Neck Oil & Old Mout Cider great for a sunny afternoon ... Beer garden is massive - quality tables scattered around ... Food was spot on - had Chicken Wings - Prawns - Breaded Mushrooms. All fantastic quality and plentiful. Also ordered a make your own pizza - pick your sauce and 4 toppings... Amazing loved it great base - sauce and toppings - sausage - bacon - mushrooms & peppers. Would certainly recommend and will definitely add The Jubilee to our favoured pubs...

visited 9/12/23. And again 15.02.25 salt pots here too. After seeing good reviews today on local spotted group about salt and pepper, we realised the venue had indeed reopened. that post was a good advert. so a call to book in on opening was done and a drive down for food. we were greeted and seated promptly with a smile. food delivery was fast and quality / quantity of food was also great. looked after here very well. will recommend time and time again. the salt and pepper was present and correct. Smashing. Best 73.

Having ordered our meals we found out thet the starter arrived at the same time as the main course. To me this is unacceptable and when I spoke the person that I think was the duty manager, I was told that this was company policy. I then asked "So we have to eat our starters whilst our main course sits on the table getting cold?" "That is the policy (or words to that effect)," I was informed. I have NEVER been in any restaurant where the starter and the main course were served simultaneously and I believe 100% that to do so is wrong (I have already stated about the main course going cold whilst eating the starter.) Meanwhile my steak that I asked to be cooked medium rare was, to be fair, cooked exactly like that, and the chips were very nice. Unfortunately the meal was served on a cold PLATE and so the whole meal went cold very quickly. I do not want a "sizzler" style steak, but a plate that is at the very least luke warm, must surely be the minimum acceptable standard! The next complaint was that one of our diners was not served with the starter she ordered. Fine, if she could have had the starter replaced with the ordered one, but the kitchen had closed and so nothing could be done to rectify the fault! Now maybe I am wrong, but i feel that the kitchen should be available to: A) Rectify the fault and B) We had no way of ordering puddings as there was no-one there to prepare them! Sorry, but this was my first and last time I will ever use this excuse for a restaurant ever again and I would NOT recommend it, not just as a place to eat, and CERTAINLY NOT as a place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any other celebratory event. In fact, I may have been very generous wth the...

Absolutely devistated, we used to love this place pre lockdown. A few friends told us that they had a bad meal last week so we insured them that we have never had a bad meal. So we invited them back therewith us. Tonight has made up my decision to never go back again.. Everyones meal came out at around half hour intervals.. We accepted that because of the current circumstances. We then had to ask for our cutlery after 30 minutes after the last meal was served. Then plates turn up half plated and outstanding things came out half hour later.. This was enough for me to not return. Then my steak came out and which i ordered medium rare and it came out blue. Then my friends young children were handed serving spoons to eat there desserts with that were too big to even fit in there mouths. Honeslty feel like the whole night was a joke.. Once we complained we were confronted by 3 members of staff as if they were trying to intimidate us. Then they feel the need to gather and give us dirty looks from behind the bar while obviously talking about us. They gave us two meals off the bill but even a full refund wouldnt of cut it tonight jubilee..and to top It all off my friend is being violently sick. Its an Absolute shambles now.. Never returning and will be telling all friends and family to avoid.. I hope you do to to avoid the same terrible night that we have had. Honeslty wish i could minus 5...
