This place is my go to, and the following my 'usual order'.

If you're anywhere near Wellesbourne and craving Indian cuisine that sings with freshness and finesse, Kolshi Premier Indian Restaurant is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the modern décor and warm hospitality set the tone—but it's the food that truly dazzles. 🌿 Freshness & Flavour Every dish bursts with vibrant spices and carefully balanced aromas. You can taste the quality in each bite—clearly crafted with high-grade local ingredients and traditional Indian techniques. 🍛 Spectacular Special Biryani Their signature biryani is a showstopper: fragrant, layered, and deeply satisfying. The rice is perfectly cooked, the meat tender, and the spice blend hits all the right notes without overpowering. 🔥 Chicken 65 This South Indian classic gets a bold, fiery treatment here. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and spiced to perfection—it’s addictive in the best way. 🥖 Chapatis Soft, warm, and freshly made, the chapatis are the ideal companion to any curry or dry dish. They’re simple, but done with such care they elevate the whole meal.

Kolshi isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a celebration of Indian culinary artistry, with the nicest of staff. Whether you're a seasoned spice lover or just dipping your toes into the cuisine, this place delivers an experience that’s both authentic and unforgettable. No photos as I only thought about that when I'd already cleaned...

Normally we order and pick up from the restaurant but on this instance we decided on delivery. Having placed the order just after 8pm, we were advised that we would receive the food in 45 minutes. At 9.15pm we called to enquire on our delivery to be told that it was out for delivery, at 9.35pm we called again and were advised that our delivery was the only one - now we live in Wellesbourne and as we know, Wellesbourne is not a big village. By 10.10pm we still have not received our food - a 2+hour wait. The only reason I have had to dignify this experience with 1 star is because Google does not allow the option for a zero star review. If you cannot commit to delivering on a Friday or Saturday, then do not offer the service. I understand it can be busy and there can be delays but this is beyond ridiculous. It pains me to write this because the food is great and the restaurant itself is excellent, having eaten from there on multiple occasions. Next time I want a delivery, there are several other establishments in the area that I will be...

We dined as a large group. Kolshi has the option to eat-in or take-away. They also do not serve alcohol. This means ‘bring your own‘ is in effect.

The food was good. The meat was tender and the plates were always hot. They did miss one thing on our order, but that’s not a problem when you’re in a big group. I would say though, that it did seemed stressful for the service/waiting staff. They seemed to be in a big rush to get the food on the table.

The restaurant was quite cosy, there is not a lot of space to move around e.g. to move to the toilets. If the tables are seated, you would have to be careful not to disturb other customers when taking off your jacket! It also get very loud in here.

The staff were very friendly, but the stress of working with only 2 people out front did come through a...

We had a wonderful dining experience at this beautiful Indian restaurant. Everything from the warm hospitality to the delicious food and fair pricing was a notch above the rest. We were warmly welcomed by Kaaz (apologies if the spelling is off), whose hospitality truly set the tone for the evening. The portions were generous and more than enough for our group. The standout dishes for us were the Dansak, Palak Paneer Masala, and the Lamb Chops each cooked to perfection with rich, distinctive flavors that set them apart. These dishes alone are reason enough to return! The Tarka Dal, while flavorful, could have used a touch more salt, but that was a minor hiccup in an otherwise excellent meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine with great service and a cozy.

We had our dinner they one guy was very nice. As I told him your food wasn't done to the desi style and did apologise. The food had sugars and they need worry about that many don't take or eat sugars. Specially these days they diabetics so it's not nice. We ordered chili panee which also had sugar and my partner ordered chicken karahi it had far worse sugars in that. My dish was better the the chicken. We had starter for 2 that was nice. I gave it 3stars the food was to sugary, it was far to loud in there. I couldn't hear myself. I would to try it but if they stop making it with sugar.

Really amazing food. Delicious food with loads of options for a reasonable price. I’ve just been to india and it was great to see some of the dishes we ate over there in the UK. Service was lovely, we did have to ask a few times for extra glasses etc. Atmosphere good but it was very loud, especially with larger groups. All in all lovely though I would be back!
