I often stop here on my way to work my nightshift and sometimes in the mornings. It's generally a good McD, but the wait times are always an issue early evening. If I decide to treat myself I leave for work not only to take into account eating time, but also 25 minutes extra for expected wait, as that's the longest I have experienced. I now go and sit down once ordered rather than stand there and get frustrated watching all the orders fly to the drive thru. You can feel the tension at times amongst people waiting. The problem is, the design of the car park means they have to keep the drive thru moving or it will mean gridlock. Sad for those waiting inside and then finding their food cold because it was actually ready but everyone was sorting orders for drive thru. You can tell they are trying to manage it, as all of a sudden five, six, seven orders are called at once to clear those waiting inside, then back to drive through prioritisation again. Until they sort the car park out (which is shared with Travellodge and another reason they have to keep the drivevthru moving or Travellodge will complain), to advertise this McD as fast food would be a fair case for false advertising in my opinion. Despite my presumptions, I have noticed bad reviews connected to wait times from those using the drive thru as well, so maybe it's simply not designed well enough to cope with customers numbers at peak times. I think the worst experience I had, was when I and others were enduring one of those indeterminate waits, and some of the staff were standing idle and joking with each other. One guy had had enough and went to the counter and said, "My order is right there in that pile. Either give it to me now or I want my money back!". Funny how quick things can be done when that happens. Conclusion. Most staff trying hard to cope and say sorry about the wait, so has potential to be a good McD. Just need to sort wait times,oh, and hire a full time cleaner as in other McDonald's, as regularly full/overflowing bins. Advice. If planning to use early evening, allow an extra 30-minutes just incase. May be unnecessary, but better than getting stressed out if you are on a...

I can honestly say that I have no idea why people are 'regulars' at any of this outfit's grubby restaurants. š¤
Today was a rare visit - just for quick burger - and nothing changes. This place, just like so very many of theirs, is absolutely gut-wrenching filthy. The loos were worse than a public toilet in a city centre on a Saturday night. There were flies enjoying a great day out in the kitchen and the seating area was far too dirty looking for me to stomach. š¤®
Hand-on-heart; I don't have a clue as to how people can spend good money in these places and actually eat their food - after visiting the filthy loos and observing the surroundings. š„“
I had to wait about 20 minutes for my order, so today was a timely reminder as to why I never go to a McDonald's unless I'm absolutely gagging for a cool drink. š©
What an outfit. How they get away with it - I'll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot quite sure whats happened to this McDonald's, went a few weeks ago, full of flies and internal bins overflowing. Went a week after that, ordered to eat in, food arrived in a take out bag and the lad just dropped the bag on the table and didn't even speak. Last week, ordered a chicken bigmac, got the beef one despite it even having a label on as Chicken. Then stone me if they didn't just do it again tonight, ordered chicken bigmac and got home to find it beef again still had a chicken label on the box and to add insult to injury, the lad behind the counter in a round neck tee shirt dropped the bag on the side, got my two drinks and one at a time slammed them on the counter and said "there you are". Bare in mind I've never complained to them. They're just incompetent, slow, moody, rude and poorly supervised otherwise these constant mistakes wouldn't be happening. It's a shame as we go...
