There are a few places you go to and feel truly welcomed, The Kitchen is one of them. Our host (and the owner who runs place, I think) was very warm and made sure we were comfortable. She was very kind to accommodate us although we didn’t have a booking in advance. We started with cakes and tea/coffee and they were all amazing! Fresh coffee is made and served continuously, loved it! I also tried the spinach and ricotta which was good in both flavor and portions.

I would highly recommend the chicken curry and rice. I am Indian and can confidently tell you it’s one of the best I have had, it’s the right proportions of spices with nice tender pieces of chicken. It made my day and happiness in my belly showed on my face.

This place is simply wonderful! My friend and I were meeting after having not seen each other for 3 years. We had the most amazing afternoon tea! The sandwiches and cakes were so delicious and fresh. We had lots of tea and fresh coffee refills, and even a little bottle of prosecco to celebrate. All the little details were lovely, from fresh flowers to vintage tableware. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the owner and staff made our visit so special and memorable.

I came from Birmingham and my friend Taunton, and this made the perfect half way stop. To be honest, I will be making the drive again to Minchinhampton just to take friends and family there as it was so good. The tables were full when we went so I would recommend booking....

What a place. If there were ten stars to click on then ten stars it would be. The service is second to none and the lovely Assumpta is with out doubt the host of the year in my books. In times when it is sometimes difficult to find good customer service The Kitchen sets the standard at the highest level possible. Lets not forget to mention the wonderful food available, Afternoon tea is the best you will find in the area, we keep going back so that says it all. Breakfast is also the best in the area and the prefect way to start your day. you will, with out doubt, leave feeling full and uplifted, like walking into paradise. Cant wait to go back. well worth the two hour drive for...

A great place for breakfast, lunch or High Tea! The friendliest and most helpful staff you could hope for and the food is served quickly and is delicious! We had the Full English breakfast and an omelette and both were excellent and just the right size! High Tea is more than enough for two and could easily treat three to excellent sandwiches and desserts. While reservations for meals are not required it helps if you make them. Probably a requirement for High Tea. This is a frequent stop for us and in the center of Minchinhampton. You may need to park up the hill but you will find a spot even if you have to head up to the commons.

Intimate and very welcoming tea rooms with a great selection of cakes presented daily. We enjoyed our visit and we're well looked after by the friendly hosts. Situated in the Cotswold village of Minchinhampton, we noticed that the restaurant is well used by locals and visitors alike, and therefore advisable to make a booking. Tasty food and attractive cream teas are the highlights of dining here. I enjoyed a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich and my wife liked the Cinnamon toast. Speciality tea is served to go with your meal. Lighting is cheerful and adds to the ambiance of our visit.
