McDonald's — Restaurant in Stroud

Absolutely disgraceful service. Ordered at 9.16am, 2 meals and portion of pancakes with sausage for myself, partner and 3 year old son. Waited for 25 mins for order to be presented on a dirty tray, despite our order being sat in the hot holding area for the majority of that time.

Manager on duty during the shift didn't seem to care what her junior staff at the front counter were doing as she was too focused on ensuring drive-thru orders were dealt with as priority, although she could clearly see my frustration as I waited.

When I eventually received my order, the employee assembling our food asked if I would like any compensation for the excessive and unnecessary wait endured for what is supposed to be fast food, which would have been a kind gesture if it wasn't for the fact that he hadn't awaited a reply from myself yet proceeded to pile on token menu items upon our tray, grunted and walked away to serve the next poor person in line. Granted I walked away with those bonus extras unwanted, because I felt had to as my partner and 3 year old son were also waiting upon their food.

This store needs to be named and shamed, so here it is. Never will I be so patient again if I ever have the stupidity to visit again.

And just so you corporate big wigs behind McDonalds operation strategies know, the new procedures implemented throughout the nation really do not work, I bid you revert to the old system before you notice a serious and rapid decline in...

Overall, very disappointed with this (Bristol Road) McDonald's. I frequently wait over 15 minutes for my food, with one time being 30 minutes during the breakfast menu; so I started going through the drive through which can be just as slow at times. Several times, my plain quarter-pounder has been served with everything in it and any other burgers ordered always look like they are thrown together. But the last straw that is causing me to write this review is the customer service; I ordered and paid for a Berry Burst... I drove round to the window to collect my food and I was told that the machine wasn't working so they will substitute me a Strawberry Milkshake. I kindly asked for a diet coke instead and got served one with a huff and a puff; I then said to the server that "I paid for a Berry Burst so can I have the change please?"... He then flung his arms round to turn towards his boss and said, "he paid for a Berry Burst but the machine is broken, we gave him a Diet coke instead but he wants the Berry Burst still... what do I do when people are like this?" I quiped that that isn't what I said, and reiterated that I wanted the price difference for the change to a Diet Coke! He practically threw a pound coin at me, shoved my food through the window and walked away. Not the greatest of customer service, and it's the last straw for me so I'm not buying...

Slow service, yet plenty of staff, a fight broke out and after the fight nothingness done to diffuse the situation no police called no one made to leave. Tensions stayed very high and almost broke out into a second fight so it didn't set a good atmosphere. Then the food came, i ordered a medium big mac meal with cheese bites. They forgot the rich tomato dip sauce which j had to ask for. I went to sit down to est my food when j was greeted by a trail of blood from the fight left there. No one bothered to clear it up for over 10 minutes, some blood even being on a table, they then eventually mopped it up with if I'm not mistaken just water, nice and hygienic! The good was left on the table, then the mop used to wipe up the blood was left by the sauce counter. Again nice and hygienic. I get this may be a one off as a fight isn't your everyday occurrence butesvung blood in a restaurant for more than a minute is wrong no matter 10. Hygiene is clearly not a priority here i wanted to rate it zero but i gave the one star because they still have the help your own sauce and God i miss that. Food tasted nice though so that's a plus however I didn't really want to eat when there was blood everywhere and a fight. It put me off.
